In June, Mrs. Palin told ministry students at her former church that in going to war with Iraq, the United States is "on a task that is from God," the Associated Press reported. Mrs. Palin's brand of evangelical Protestantism is especially well-disposed to the preservation of Israel for biblical reasons, said Merrill Matthews, an evangelical Christian and a Dallas-based health-policy specialist. Mrs. Palin was baptized as a teenager at the Wasilla Assembly of God Church. She frequently attends the Juneau Christian Center, which is also part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God. Her home church is the Church of the Rock, an independent congregation. "Historically, the Assemblies of God have been dispensationalists, which means they believe in 'the rapture' of Christians that takes them out of the world," said Mr. Matthews. "Central to that position is a very strong support for Israel. It's integral to their view of both prophecy and politics. Denying Israel is almost like denying the faith."

He was just pointing out the obvious; obvious to everyone but Goldi, that is. I guess when you have a 145 I.Q. you tend to focus on the Big Picture, so the little stuff just escapes notice.

I have pretty well had it with her today. Rather than admit what she'd done with her insinuation that I wanted to shoot up a shopping mall, she decided it was better to try to further marginalize me. Her pathetic attempt proves just how incredibly and stupefyingly ignorant she is. LP used to be interesting, but I'm pretty tired of some of the things that go on over there. Especially with the owner now becoming a disruptor.
Better to be hated for what you are, than loved for what you are not.

You know... it could be the residual from her Guillain Barre as they are finding even those who have supposed 100% recovery rates are now having greater than normal mental and physical problems in their old age. Whatever... it's funny in a scarey sort of way. Too bad some of her die hard supporters there don't give her some friendly advice.

I don't quite understand what Destro's supposed "library" threat was all about. Libraries I've used in the past all have prominent signage about Intellectual Freedom blah, blah . I've used public use pc's in libraries on occasion when I've forgotten my laptop, and librarians have actually provided a kind of side blinder contraption to male pc users evidently so they can look at online porn and not offend people sitting at pc's next to them. In other words, my experience from being an actual library user is that there is no blocking or censoring of websites at libraries. Maybe kiddies' departments in libraries do so for their their public use pc's but I can't say for certain.

Domer has stated many times in the past that he doesn't care for Palin and thinks she would make a lousy president so evidently he's not on the poster A- list. Of course he never posts support for any candidate, but he viscerally hates Ron Paul and routinely attacks his supporters using the foulest, nastiest language with impunity.
