i'm in touch with CadetD. she's fine. octavia posted not too long ago and Diana does a driveby post now and then. i think Turtle finally grew weary of we inferiors. ;)

You know it's funny that this sort of thread pops up today, earlier I was just thinking "whatever happened to OKCSubmariner"...
I'm glad they're still posting. It's hard for me to keep up these days, fall is a busy season for me!!

Sadly, I report OKCSubmariner's last post on LP in May: sneakypete, Goldi-Lox, out damned spot, Uncle Bill, AuntB (#17) I am very ill and will be going into the hospital soon. My prognosis is not good- likely terminal. Please pray for me and especially my poor wife, Camilla, who will need all the help she can get. Thank you all for helping me and particularly America and Christians and Jews. Carry On Until Christ Returns.

Wow, that's really sad. He wasn't that old was he. I may not have agreed with some of his views, but he seemed like a decent guy, and worked tirelessly on reseaching the OKC bombing.
I would say he is in his early 60s. Over the years we conversed with each other several times by telephone, but I've gotten lazy in the past 3 or 4 years - my postings have declined. I recently learned about OKCSubmariner's last posting at LP. It shocked me too. I searched the obits and he wasn't there at the time. Poor guy.
I think he was somewhere around 70. I remember some of his exchanges with Sneaky and a couple of others that mentioned this was the age range. He was a genuine and good person, IMO. I didn't always agree either, but he was always respectful and considerate in his posts.
I'm pretty sure he is about 63 because I remember how many years older than I that he is.
You would know best Fred. I didn't have any personal corresondence, just LP posts and reading exchanges of others. : )
