No, why should we care if the tuition goes up 32% in a state that has proven time and again that it has FAILED in every regard where Education is concerned?
Nobody should care. Not one person should care for the simple fact that more often than not, these kids, the ones who incur huge debts, and if they graduate, will not make enough to repay what they borrowed in a broken economy.
College is a joke these days. They'd be better served going to a technical school, or at the very least get their gen-ed's at a community college.
I can imagine a world where idiocy is wiped from the face of the earth. Unfortunately, a lot of colleges and institutions of higher learning would have to be summarily destroyed for that to happen.
Free education for all is a fine idea, provided it's a REAL education, instead of institutionalized idiocy. How many brilliant minds came up with the lie of Global Warming? Keynesian Economics? Perpetual War? Peak Oil?
How many brilliant minds are keeping REAL progress from being made in the areas of free energy production?
A free education is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm not willing to pay for someone else's education, especially when I had to work hard and pay for my own.
