Wow- I am more than a little confused by Goldi's remarks to you. I believed that she was serious about cleaning the place up- but she lets war stay.. and everything out of his mouth is a nasty, illogical personal attack. She lets people make threats against others- and looks the other way.

There are posters there who are obvious trolls and stalkers- and people whose every post is nonsense, and she seems to be encouraging those people and the way they use LP to attack other posters--- over and over and over again. She lets people get away with all manner of crazy things- and she THEN bans you just like that?? What is she cleaning up?? I am confused.

Well, it is her site- her rules, and not a place that I want to visit anymore.

That is because you think rationally, and make the mistake lots of intelligent rational people do of looking for a rational reason for irrational behavior. Goldi-Schmuck is simply unstable and I do believe an alcoholic. Having grown up in such an environment and lived through it first hand the behavior fits.

OI- I ,too ,grew up with alcoholism. So did my parents. I hear you.

I do, sincerely hope, that anyone who has a substance abuse problem- or has been effected by someone's substance abuse, finds peace and comfort in therapy or a peer support group.

I have been in a peer support group (alanon) for over two years and it has changed my life. I wish for everyone the same peace I have found. All of my relationships have been mended, and I have been able to love my alcoholic with an open and healed heart.

You are right- substance abuse is about chaos and is irrational- and no one needs to live that way, because there is help and understaning out there.

I do apologize for misunderstanding about the posting status, Eric. :) I get it now.

I have only have been verbally *attacked* by two posters there- and that has gone on for years- with the same people. I don't see where Goldi is setting an example for those two posters to be more civil, with the way she has been approaching posters- so I still won't be returning there.

I have really had enough of that Tom Foolery. Have a great day kids.
