This is going to be a tough year to get a handle on. The economy's never been this bad so I'm not sure if that's going to raise or lower the body count. I'm leaning slightly towards it raising it. I'm hoping for some inspiration once I see the ads a little later today.

I'm kinda secretly hoping that the Diversity & Tolerance breaks down into rioting & looting in one or more sanctuary cities resulting in a declaration of martial law. That would be so cool. Especially if it was over some really stupid item that no one needs. Edit: If it's TeeVees, I'll be orgasmic!
West Philly is fast rising on my list of upcoming, world class slums. They'd be my first guess for a trifecta; injuries, deaths and severe casualties. I'd follow Philly with Patterson, NJ, Camden, NJ and anywhere in the Northern part of Brooklyn.

OK, I just got back from looking at the ads, and frankly, there's nothing I saw worth driving to the store for, let alone camping out waiting in line for, but then again, I'm pretty much immune to that crap. I guess I'm calling no joy. There might be some property damage, a few minor scrapes and an endless supply of surveillance video showing fleeced and desperate "diversity" Uhhmerkkins frantically jamming merch down their pants, but no crazed rioting, stampedes, etc. Nothing to write home about. I could be wrong about that, really wrong, but I'm so out of touch with pop culture, I have no idea what the sheepsters are thinking. To be really honest, I don't want to. Just wake me up if the revolution starts.
Gal at Victoria Secret said she has security coming through the store every half hour because groups were coming in trying to rip them off. First time I had been in VS in years. They have nothing to fit me. Anyway, I didn't realize how bubble gum that store was.

The neighborhood Safeway was doing a brisk trade with harried-husbands (like me) with their last-minute list of crap to gather for the annual pig-out. (I truly dislike this time of the year. If I could go Ichabod Crane for a couple of months, it would be a wonderful thing.)

I currently have no job and had nothing decent to wear to interviews. Thank you Cabela's (Pants and Shoes), Lands' End (best Men's Shirts), and Sierra Trading Post (Closeout on a Ralph Lauren Jacket and some killer sweaters).

I just have to make sure I am back to work before the Unemployment Insurance runs out. It is a good time of year in Oregon to be indoors a lot. Steady drizzle today.

My bestest friend in high school got a job with Mitchell Brothers in one of their shows. At one of their parties someone spiked her drink, she hit her head hard on the way down and woke up a couple of days later in the hospital with much of her long term memory gone. Which included all the fun times we had while riding in the eastbay hills. I don't think she was ever able to hold a job after that.
Unfortunately that can happen at any wild party - regardless of profession as too many young "ladies" have found out (and a few men). There was a psycho queer where I worked whom I learned, after his death from Heroin overdose, had drugged an acquaintance and "had his way with him". It is a rough world out there - the social veneer just makes it seem tamer than it is.

How much of a loser are you to have to spike someone's drink to get laid? That is beyond pathetic.
In the case of the psycho queer he did it because he wanted to degrade the person he assaulted. He was one sick S.O.B.. I learned of it only from another gay man who was a friend - and a sometimes lover of the psycho. He, to his credit, was quite sickened by it.
