The only kind of union a liberal doesn't like. I watched the MTA vid, and I'm not at all outraged. There are good reasons for not letting the family out -- they were probably not the only ones wanting out at that place and that time -- and that is a good point about not bringing kids to protests. It's kinda funny Weich moved to rural Idaho. We are constantly told that the increasingly frequent episodes of criminal violence by police are aberrations, and that "most" police are good, decent, honorable people. I don't think they're aberrations at all. They're a result of the Diversity cult.
Avoiding foreign entanglements is the best domestic policy.

Good reasons for that? Nits make lice? Hey, it was good enough for the Muzzies.
And you know for sure this seven month old wasn't a terrorist? Come on....cut the cops a break. You see how hard we have in when you watch COPS on Fox, right? The job is a bitch, except that you can make large bucks simply by not enforcing the law. Isn't that what a true Libertarian would want?
Not that I can think of.

The Portland PD seems to have a habit of hiring Pigs with a record of violence. The Officer who shot and killed an unarmed man in a parked car a couple of years ago had been chased off of one PD in Idaho already for excessive use of force. This all seems to tie into a trend around the country of militarizing and making PD's more violent and prone to use force. Also related is the trend to NOT hire officers with an above average I.Q.. Just observations but the data is accumulating.

If I am ever mistreated, manhandled, tazed, or harmed by a member of law enforcement and I don't deserve it, the minute I'm out of custody, I will directly go on safari. No police officer should ever be allowed to harm a citizen, PERIOD. If they are attacked, shot at, they are of course welcome to defend themselves, and their property, but to arbitrarily harm someone directly or indirectly because they feel like it is WRONG, and should be prosecutable. If I as a citizen have to abide by the law, then they too must be forced to abide by the law. The sooner the police start to fry for their crimes, the more likely we'll start having cops that the people can respect, rather than the sociopathic bullies that seem to gravitate towards those jobs.

They even APPEAR or CAUSE ME TO THINK they are putting a taser on me and that's an easy decision to defend my life with my OWN deadly force. Tasers kill and I will not go down as such...
