We know who the Rs and Ds are, but the Ds I know are BLIND to this band of thieves and liars. And worse yet, being partisans, most will never 'get it.'

Instead, the ex-official continued, “if we treat them as insignificant, small, pathetic men with nothing to do with Islam, they’ll lose their relevance.”

Question: Can't Al-Qaida (sp) simply meet up in other countries? They have no infrastructure, no headquarters, no material needs that necessitate them being in any given location at any given time. They are essentially the same kind of organization as any covert group that could meet in bars or subway stations at random.

Why are we in Afghanistan again?
