Man dies while trying to roast pig Posted: Dec 31, 2009 5:11 PM PST

PHOENIX, Ariz. (WKOW) -- A man's attempt to prepare a special holiday meal for his family took a tragic turn Wednesday night.

Fire officials say the man dug a three-foot-deep fire pit to roast a pig, but somehow fell into the fiery hole.

Authorities say family and friends ran to the put, but couldn't pull him out of the fire before he died.

I once used a pic of an African American man from a wanted poster as my avatar pic. The kinds of response I got was hilarious. But, in the end I was disappointed that nobody put two-and-two together and made the connection to the wanted list.
