I checked snopes. This cell phone rumor has been circulating for 5 years.

number one my cell phone is not a ball and chain to me, nor did I stop every five minutes to dial up and yak on pay phone before cell phones were in the public domain. two, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know (all unknown numbers get processed through anywho.com's reverse look up.) I have found the telemarketers will use number spoofing but as I don't know anyone who lives in Erie PA those numbers go to the block number list built into the phone. in fact most people who call me whom I know complain because I don't answer my phone mainly because I don't carry it on my person (see point one), I just filter through my missed calls and decide from there.

and while we are on the subject of cell phones...

Sorry to be a twit, but you're displaying road "negativity." This is one of the stages of road rage, and it's a reportable offense. It's a citizens duty to act on the information you provided.

I think this has been circulating for several years. Don't think it's necesarily true. Blocking your number at this time (or supposedly blocking your number) gives someone a list of all good cell phone numbers.
