Ok this has been going on for years. Someone in the city put my name in a database saying I am a militia member. Well I am not and never have been. This has caused me some problems. They also have it in their database that my wife is militia. Well I have seen the govt flyers that say militia is terrorists. So basically they are saying I am a terrorist. I am looking to sue the city for this defamation and slander. It has also caused the police to harrass me and not file charges in cases that I wished to persue. The prosecutor in a case I am involved in has even told my attorney that I am a militia member. I am serious about this. So if there are any attorneys out there. Please contact me privately and we can talk about this. Looking for suggestions.

A K A Stone, you can obtain access to such record of the database by making an official public records request in accordance with your state laws. Such request under your state Public Records Act statutes.

Put your request in writing and reference that statute and mail it by certified mail to the person who is custodian of public records. Tell them you demand within 30 days that they have within the reasonable amount of timeline to comply with your requests per that statute to supply you the actual record asserting such allegations. If they fail to comply, then you have grounds to sue them in their personal capacities (not official capacities) in state court per violations of that public records act along with invasion of privacy, as well as slander, defamation and false light, because their are using their badges of law (color of authority) to violate your persons in your right to be free from harassment and from invasion of privacy and unreasonable searches per the Fourth Amendment to the constitution.

All that legal mumbo-jumbo is all good & fine I suppose, but can't you just give him the secret phone number that people call and whine to then they send you a million dollars?

What you may refer to as legal mumbo jumbo is to somebody else's right to contront those who are assassinating their character behind closed doors and probably concocting up secret files. Such techniques like this actually exist in public universities.
