This is a film series documenting the many similarities that Hollywood movies have in common with the attacks on 9/11. Two things that you need to keep in mind when viewing this series:

1) All media was released prior to September 11th, 2001.
2) Films are created in a 100% CONTROLLED environment. If something is on the screen, you can bet it was meant to be there.

Films are created in a 100% CONTROLLED environment. If something is on the screen, you can bet it was meant to be there.

It is evident you have done considerable research to support your thesis, which I appreciate. While some of your notions regarding subliminal suggestion and symbology might be considered by some as over extensions or imaginative overlay, resulting from your zeal, I do think there is truth to the idea that films can be prophetic and/or utilized to condition public perception. From my point of view, how can they NOT sometimes be prophetic, as they are projections (pardon the pun) emerging from the collective consciousness, which includes an awareness of future probabilities. However, your claim that anything and everything appearing on the screen is the result of a conscious decision on the part some individual(s) I find difficult to accept. If this were true, then everyone involved in production, screen writing, set design, directing and acting would have to be a totally conscious being, completely free of subliminal suggestion and subconscious impulse. However, it seems there is a collective consciousness, of which we all a part, that may use individual creative endeavor to deliver metamessages to the population at large, without the individuals directly involved being really aware of the layered content of the message they are communicating. The deeper importance of a film and the possibly unintended subtext may later become apparent to objective viewers, i.e. movie goers, if they have the "eyes to see". I have not yet watched all of your video installments of film clips, so I might be redundant in suggesting that you view and include 3 Days of the Condor in your review. It is a film that is beyond subliminal or just suggestive of the events of 911 ... it is in several ways, prophetic.

welcome to 4um, FreeWay. 3 days of the Condor was from 1975. i saw it back then, but i don't remember it.

Robert Redford stars as Joe Turner, a New York-based CIA researcher who returns from lunch to find all his co-workers murdered. In the next 72 hours, everyone Turner trusts will try to kill him, in this conspiracy thriller by director Sydney Pollack. Double-crossed and forced to go underground, Turner kidnaps a young woman (Faye Dunaway) and holds her hostage as he unravels the mystery. Max von Sydow and Cliff Robertson co-star.

i'd like to see it again knowing what i know now.

Thanks for the welcome .. you must be a moderator? Condor was one of those films that augured ill for specific aspects of the future in my opinion. Rollerball (also 1975) was another such film that comes to mind.
