The economy is so bad that… I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail. I ordered a burger at McDonald's and the kid behind the counter asked, "Can you afford fries with that?" CEO's are now playing miniature golf. If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them and ask if they meant you or them. Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM. McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer. Parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names. A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico . Dick Cheney took his stockbroker hunting. Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore. The Mafia is laying off judges. Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen. Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great!! The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $1.5 Trillion disappear! I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Lifeline. I got a call center in Pakistan , and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

The medical cannabis laws have depressed the price of a quarter ouncer by quite a bit. In fact, many people are in crisis mode here in Eugene sitting on weed they can move. If the Feds don't start disrespecting medical cannabis laws soon, the whole economy locally could go belly up. ;-)

Having said I don't use it, if the time came when I thought it might help me I would have no qualms about using it. But I choose not to smoke anything because my lungs aren't that healthy.

It was based on a true life story of a selfless Scoutmaster who had shaped several generations of boys into good and decent men. At the end of the movie, Fred MacMurray, the Scoutmaster who had been a second father to a lot of growing boys is congratulated by a man in a Limo for his accomplishments, the man being the grown up character "Four Eyes" a rather gangling and nerdy boy who had been the butt of a lot of jokes - including gaining the nickname "Four Eyes" for his glasses. The Scoutmaster, Fred MacMurray, replies "Well thank you Governor...".

What an imagination it took to write that, eh? Who ever heard of decent and honorable white people? The very idea!

Yeah, if you take that at face value you have to accept all sorts of impossibilities such as that the Magna Carta was written by white guys, the American Constituion, The Geneva Conventions, or War and Peace.
