The American Third Position Party launched this year on January 5. It is Eurocentric and ideologically third position (possibly inspired by the BNP?), and will thus fill a niche somewhat distinct from The Constitution Party and other American third parties. The A3P Party website (Note: Program Page) has more information, but the party remains somewhat of a mystery, and a surprise.
From the Econ Section:
-Small business:
[T]he A3P will challenge giant, monopolistic corporations who colluded, used predatory pricing, or conducted unethical business practices to destroy small businesses and make it nearly impossible for them to gain a foothold in almost any and every market. We will break apart organizations who have threatened to extinguish proper competition and drive out ethical businessman.
-Banking:
To restore ownership of the American economy to its rightful owners – the people of the United States of America – we will abolish the Federal Reserve, incorporating it into the United States Treasury and making an actual federal component. We will make illegal the practice of fractional-reserve banking. We will grant solely the government the right to create, issue, and regulate money, and money will be circulated through investments in infrastructure becoming of a federal government.
-Trade:
To nurture start-up businesses, and to foster growth in existing businesses, the A3P will protect against unfair imports. These are imports which are a product of those businesses who have established manufacturing installations in foreign lands so as to gain an unfair advantage against companies at home. They are imports that wouldn’t have existed otherwise.
From the Foreign Affairs Section:
The American Third Position does not believe that the United States of America has a moral obligation to spread American values the world over. In fact, we believe that we ought to concern ourselves more with the maintenance of democracy within our own borders – especially as it is under attack – and less with the propagation of it on foreign soil.
From the Education Section:
As the American Third Position believes in freedom for all people, we recognize that every community has an inalienable right to determine what enters the minds of its children. The A3P will force no child to be taught a certain political, religious, or cultural doctrine. We will ensure that all political, religious, and cultural doctrine is kept out of public schools, and we will guarantee the right of private schools, or homeschooling to teach their respective student bodies whatever the community and parents deem appropriate.
Until the cost of college ceases to rise in near-exponential fashion, we must limit the demand for college education by restricting non-citizens from being admitted into our schools, public or otherwise.
And on the big issue, immigration:
If current demographic trends persist, European-Americans will become a minority in America in only a few decades time. The American Third Position will not allow this to happen.
To safeguard our identity and culture, and maintain the very existence of our nation, we will immediately put an indefinite moratorium on all immigration. Recognizing our people’s right to safety, and respecting the sanctity of the rule of law, we will immediately deport all criminal and illegal aliens. We believe, too, that American citizenship should be exclusive and meaningful. As such, the American Third Position will end the practice of automatic birthright-citizenship for children of illegal aliens. To restore, with civility, the identity and culture of our homeland, we will provide incentives for recent, legal immigrants to return to their respective lands.
