Pact with the Devil? Television evangelist Pat Robertson's claimed that Haiti is cursed by a pact with the Devil. Robertson made the comments on CBN's The 700 Club Wednesday, and Miami Haitian-American Hans Mardy reacted during a meeting Thursday of the Haitian-American Grassroots Coalition. By Chuck Fadely / Miami Herald Staff I'm waiting for Christians to condemn Robertson, the 700 Club, and the entire hoax industry of televangelism in America. Of course we know it won't happen. Cue the phony healing rituals of Benny Hinn. We have videos of our equivalent "mud diving" acts in our daytime television talk shows where confessing, crying, and counseling have become our exorcism rituals.
We were told to pray in our closets (in private), and that still seems like the plan to me.
Like HELL it is. Get out on the streets and scream to HIGH HEAVEN.
