Thing is about YouTube is that either they knew well in advance that they'd lose control of it, and set it up just in order to identify "troublemakers", or were totally blind to what it could evolve to.
I think the former is more probable than the latter.

Ditto. Contrary to the image that is attempted to be portrayed of them, the Fu Manchu evil genius image, they actually have made a lot of mistakes but by controlling the media if it is never reported it never happened. The Internet itself was the first real big mistake in information control. When it was still a closed network, ARPANET, the conversation was kept controlled as all of the users were government employees one way or another and were protective of their "Rice Bowl". Therefore I think they had a false image, and estimation, of what the Internet would become, and didn't think it would become as widespread as it has. In the early years it was just geeks because you had to know at least some UNIX to access much. With the advent of Browsers though it opened the door to people who really know little about computers. Thus what was expected to be a vehicle of commerce and control went out of control and thus the subsequent attempts to set up the controlled Internet II etc., ....

Um, OI, by former I meant the original premise, not the 2nd one.
Since people need to sign up with email addresses on YouTube, and it IS in fact a government affiliated site (via Google ownership), I'd say they are more than likely VERY curious as to who is posting what, and it provides them with names and addresses.
I hope it's more of what you say, pure stupidity on their part, but I wouldn't be so sure...

My bad. Actually, when I think about it, we could both be right. Google is of course CIA (which is why I don't use it and don't trust the search results to be complete even when I use Scroogle).

In the first video, observe the guy in the blue shirt walking behind Jones at 2:23 into the video. At 2:28 he breaks left from Jone's entourage and heads discreetly into the crowd.
FBI?

a guy just called alex and thanked him for organizing the event yesterday and alex didn't give tribute to the real organizers. his only comment was that it was wonderful the number of people who showed up. that call gave him the opportunity to set the record straight and to apologize. the fact that he didn't says it all. :/

He blew his cover - big time. He's probably scrambling to figure a way out.

So you may have been right in terms of him being a fraud, but the REASONS you were calling him that was because of some of the things he said which were RIGHT.
One of the reasons I called him a fraud is because, like the phony televangelist who exploits religion to make money, Alex Jones exploits conspiracy theories to make money.
Even a televangelist may say things that are "right" in the context of the religion they're exploiting but he is still a total fraud at his core. Alex Jones is exactly the same.
I commend you for at least recognizing that I was correct in my assesment of Alex Jones.
Likely he'll try to act as though it reveals nothing, he won't mention it, and if some callers bring it up he'll cut them off and then go on a rant about how "everybody's out to get him". Notice that everytime the Mahajunkie has a bad call that somehow makes it through the screen that he'll spend the next half hour deriding the caller etc., "filthy lib'rul" (even if they were a true conservative).

Possibly - or someone from some agency buried on the inside of the inside of some alphabet soup agency.

Yeah, pretty standard. He can't admit anything and has to try and cover for the mistake.

Gotta have that "Good Cop" - "Bad Cop". Which is which simply changes with the issue and the audience.

Well that pretty much seals it then.
One other interesting point is that he's apparently launched his army of disciples onto these YouTube videos, siding with him and blasting the actual organizers as "posers".

Typical AJ maneuver.
Better yet, he allowed callers to think it was HIS rally. He'll probably have people thinking the organizers were the disruptors before too long...

In the past AJ could have gotten away with it unharmed, but not anymore.

Well that sucks and blows at the same time. The first thing he should have told the caller was that he didn't organize it and then said who did. Then he should have said that he had disrupted the event, "quite unintentionally."* If he had said that he may have been able to get some of his followers back into his camp but what he did and then not setting the record straight does not bode well for him imo.
*I am not saying that what he did was "unintentional" because it looked like it was intentional to me. Just saying that if he would say that it MIGHT help his cause a bit.

WEARECHANGEAUSTIN.org's motto is,"COME AND TAKE THEM!" and ALEX's is, "BUY MY NEW BOOK!"
His CIA handler sent "Agent AJ" in to disrupt the rally because they fear groups and pissed off activists they do not control. And you can be sure that Alex will have the gratitude of the Austin govt and police.
When the time comes for revolution Alex will tell folks to keep their guns buried and instead buy his new book entitled "TAKE AMERICA BACK FROM THE ARABS!"
To the blinded-by-love-and-hero-worship AJ supporters and skeptics I ask this:
Suppose you were an enemy agent-provocateur and your handler ordered you to disrupt a rally organized by supposed friendlies, the same rally to which you were invited but declined to speak.
Suppose you were an enemy agent-provocateur and your handler ordered you to disrupt a rally organized by supposed friendlies, the same rally to which you were invited but declined to speak.
WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
I might have asked said "handler" if he didn't think that would blow my cover.

This would never have happened if the gutless sheriff of Travis country had informed the feds that their presence was not required here, and to go back to their ten square miles and stay.

If we are to have a bloodless reckoning with corrupt government, it will have to be one or two states that have governors with backbone to stand up and defy the criminals in Washington.
Texas would be a perfect state but your governor is a spineless wimp and a member of the criminal system.

Nothing.
That is what is making this so obvious. There was absolutely no reason to do what he and his acolytes did, if they were there to help. No reason at all.
So he comes with a caveat emptor warning for those that want to view his shit.
Agreed. I know one guy who will take the smallest thing and say well if he is wrong on that he is wrong on everything. I would rather gather information and proceed with caution.

Please listen to the last 5 mins of Alex's show where he comments about the protest. I'd like your opinion on what he had to say.
"Anytime you come out with the 2nd Amendment, you're going to have disruptors"
Yeah Alex, you should know, since you obviously disrupted that rally.
