I hope there is, at least, a heightened curiosity from the general public - Truther Jim Corr (of the band, The Corrs) appeared on an Irish chat show last night - and a subtle effort to discredit him was made by the host by bringing up HAARP and the Haiti earthquake. Typical strawman tactic of course - pick out the crazier theories floating round. BUT! I went to visit Jim Corr's website, jimcorr.com, straight after - I could not access it, it must have been inundated with hits! At least it shows the Irish public want to know more.

Knowing how PsyOps operates I thus infer that the association is likely (and I said "likely" not proved) intentional so as to discredit the good information. The tactic is called "Dead Agent" i.e., to refute something so as to reclassify it as unreliable. The tactic has both valid and invalid uses. It would not surprise me to learn that Icke works for MI-5.

I don't doubt that, but I'd like to see some proof. Want to put a stop to it? Then people that claim this need to provide proof and expose it. No, I"m not addressing you on this, but website owners that claim this. They have logs that can prove it. So, prove it. I have yet to see that done. Unfortunately in the world of shadows and cybershadows the best one can do is inference from known data then to compare other data to the known. By knowing the tactics employed in PsyOps and Disinformation we can then spot it when it arises and hence it is not illogical to infer cause and effect.

No, I am making inferences. An inference is a conclusion based on the comparison of known data to incomplete or circumstantial data and then drawing a logical conclusion therefrom. An inference may then, with more complete data, be proven valid or invalid. However, it is a bit more refined that simple speculation. The other possibility is that Icke is simply another good looking huckster who enjoys milking rich women.

No. If some have been traced back to some .gov organization, then I want to see that proof. Otherwise, you are doing what those in Jonestown do. Anyone that disagrees with them is therefore a COINTELPRO shill. Just because someone has a differing opinion does not mean they are suspect. If these things are happening, then the only way to shut them down is to expose it. I've had a great number of local, state and federal .gov visitors on my blog. Too many to keep track of. Yes, I already know this. We have yet another communication breakdown here. I never said those programs don't exist. It is one think to know that people do this. It's quite another to accuse someone of SPECIFICALLY posting things like this without proof. Notice I said already that having a different opinion than the group does, doesn't mean that a person is working for someone. Jones and his ilk pull that crap all the time. The data is NOT there, at least that I have ever seen. There are only accusations. Website logs tell the story. There is nothing top secret about a fucking log. A person that has access to these logs, and makes that accusation without providing the proof, is blowing smoke. The only way to stop it is to expose it. For Alex Jones, "waking people up" simply means more DVD sales and membership subscriptions.
I think it goes something like this: AJ's audience is actually replacing their uncritical absorption of mass media information with an uncritical absorption of a "conspiracy researcher" who sounds faintly religious and faintly patriotic, appealing to a whole segment of the population. It's an ingenious marketing mechanism. Of course most of AJ's own research is based on mass media articles that he recycles with his own spin. Really what we need is parents who raise their kids to think for themselves, and educational establishments that encourage independent thinking. We have a lot of the opposite going on.

The show is not only about getting out of debt, staying out of debt and living within your means but that is the main component. I'd rather listen to that than shows that cover the same old tired political crap any day. Shows that deal in conspiracy theories and other alternative subjects are entertaining but nothing more.

I will be honest. It was wishful thinking, in my case. Did you "wakeup" to the reality that Alex Jones is nothing more than a phony? I am stuck on ego, bad timing, stress and did I say ego. He strutted his rudeness and was way out of line. We all have character flaws. Damn, he is not perfect. What a surprise. Dirty, corrupt, probably not. Frustrated with why it is taking so long for folks to wake the fuck up, he even gets angry with those who are in the know. I love him too much to start hating him, yet. Nothing short of an admission in open court by Jones' defense counsel that AJ is a govt agent will convince his love struck fans, particularly those who sent him money. It's the same reason that Americans convict and jail other Americans for non existent tax "crimes". In order to admit the defendant's innocence the jurors must first admit that they have been duped their entire lives and paid dearly for it. Given a choice between "I'm really stupid and paid money I didn't "owe"!" or "He's really a criminal who didn't pay his "fair share"!" the invertebrates who worship authority, celebrity and cults of personality will send their neighbors to jail every time. Simply put, stupid people don't know that they're stupid and they're apt to respond poorly if confronted with the truth. (And, you certainly don't want them on your jury when they find it out.) But, that's where the court clerks really earn their money. In tax and other "sensitive" cases they pull jurors who have previously convicted and who are textbook state worshipers. (You can easily spot them by reviewing their tax returns and jury questionnaires) And the bitter truth is there are many more of them than there are gutsy patriots who can see that the income tax, the IRS Code and the Federal Reserve constituted the greatest hoax of the 20th century. The meek majority simply will not believe it until they read it in three newspapers, see it on three network news broadcasts and receive written confirmation from the IRS, their accountant, their lawyer and their pastor. And even then if their employers insist on deducting the three income taxes (state and federal "income"(?) taxes and social security) the majority won't quibble. They'd rather keep paying than to have to ask themselves why they didn't hear the truth years before. It's like a prisoner learning that his cell door was never locked at night and yet he still refuses to leave. He will convince himself that there's a gator-filled moat surrounding the compound before admitting his cowardice. During the American Revolution fully two thirds of the people refused to align with or support the rebels. Jefferson wrote (in the Declaration) that human nature is such that people will tolerate abuse as long as it's not too unbearable. (my words) Sadly, then and now "too unbearable" means physical pain for them personally. They will tolerate the abuse as long as the "King" only tortures their neighbors, their spouse or (depending on their level of craven cowardice) their children. We have people saying that AJ is too small a fish to warrant govt control, in spite of the fact that he was at one time much more of a potential threat than Gloria Steinem or Hal Turner ever were. And, let's also cheerfully overlook the fact that the CIA controls everyone who is anyone in the media, and Alex wants to mainstream so badly he can taste it. This 4UM is made up of mature adults for the most part and they have been lied to by the best for 50 - 60 years in some instances. Most of the participants here QUESTION EVERY-FREAKING-THING, and do not worship anyone including Alex Jones. Having said this, Alex Jones didn't do anything to improve his position among this 4UM's regulars in disrupting the rally as none of them applauded his rudeness. While some of us were willing to "forgive" a regrettable moment I don't think anyone will "forget" it. I just don't think it fair to lump anyone that listens to Jones into some kind of cult grouping.
Whoever would return government to the "will of the people" must first return the United States to the use of CONSTITUTIONAL COINAGE as a medium of exchange and through it return the Constitution as law in the United States.
It's not the ones that listen to him. There's nothing wrong with that. However many good guests that the man in question hosts and however hard he may hit the enemy, his words and motives should be called into question. Other "leaders" have backtracked and disappointed. Ron Paul and his public repudiation of "truth" spring to mind. But even if he had denied it thrice, we recognize that he is surrounded by the Romans and holds his seat in suffrance. RP is very much dealing from weakness and there is only so much that he can say without enduring a yet unheard of mainstream sentence in the public pillory. Yet in Dr. Paul there is no malice and display of deceit or intended betrayal. I believe that he is an honest man - perhaps too honest in some ways. With Jones I have made up my mind. HOUNDDAWG hit all the right notes in his post, as far as I'm concerned, and if this thread ended with those words, that would be just fine with me. There are a ton of alternate sources of information out there that we have access to, and you all know well where they are.
