Why Buck, as someone who has entered a closed timber sale, participated in sit down strikes, been arrested as a possible leader at demonstrations and all other nasty, despicable crimes I've committed, I guess I must be. ;-D

However, I never steal, attack, rob, vandalize or do anything that victimizes another for my benefit.

I have a clean police record as far as "common crimes" go. I have been arrested also when someone stole and used my ID.

But I would never act up as I mentioned had had it been over the 'normal' business of common criminality. I would then be in the modus of 'if you do the crime, do the time.'

Activists usually are nothing but a pain in the neck to deal with in jail. Well, EF!ers like me are anyway.

But it's okay for illegal aliens to steal the identity of Americans so that these "desparate" people can get a job......right?

The official slang term for these folks locally is Creeper. We have a bad meth problem in the North West, with ID theft to steal from stores, banks and anywhere people desperate to make money to stay in meth to feed their Jones.

Dale Allen Beaty, one of the Beaty cranster-gangster/burglar/ robber family from Cottage Grove, Oregon used my license to bad ends in the 1980s.

Naturally I do not support nor condone any ID theft. But I would rate what cranster gangsters do to be far more serious then someone using a bogus Social Security number to get a job with.

Any immigrant using ID to steal with and that causes lower credit ratings and heartbreak to the real ID owner is just as odious an individual to me as Dale Allen Beaty is. I am glad he is in prison.

If I knew of a stolen SS number in play by anyone, immigrant or not, I would report it. Someone using my driver's license number like that again, I would want to wring the neck of.

I went to jail twice as alias me, once was for four days one New Year's Day weekend in Tacoma, Washington. I have a good reason to personally not like ID theft.

Prolific Portland-area ID thief sentenced to 10 years in prison

Carole Crane was one of the Portland area's most prolific identity thieves, a "creeper" who rifled purses in churches and preschools. She used clever disguises, once escaped jailers by feigning a bellyache, and spent precious little time behind bars.

All that ended Wednesday, when a federal judge sentenced her to more than 10 years in prison for bank fraud.

Crane, 47, sat passively in shackles and a striped jail jumpsuit as U.S. District Judge Anna J. Brown imposed the prison term and five years of supervised release. Brown denied Crane's request to be freed on house arrest for three weeks so that she could tend to her very sick mother.

"I just can't see any rational basis on which to release you today -- or in the near future -- from custody," the judge said.

Brown noted that the last time she freed Crane, in 2006, authorities in western Washington accused Crane of a new round of identity thefts.

Crane racked up 32 felony convictions in a criminal career that began with a forgery in 1983, authorities said. From 2004 to 2005, she presided as ringleader of a rogue's gallery of dopers, boozers and gamblers, who wheedled their way into the wallets of scores of victims in places where people typically let their guard down.

They hit churches, day care centers, preschools, medical offices, veterinary clinics, elementary schools, elder care facilities and other spots. Police call such thieves creepers, because they creep into buildings and make off with wallets, purses, credit cards and checks, then siphon bank accounts by assuming identities.

Crane's gang made victims of more than 50 people and 15 banks, making off with nearly $200,000, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Lance Caldwell, who prosecuted the case.

"In my experience," he said, "this is one of the most longtime and prolific identity theft conspiracies plaguing the Portland area and beyond during 2004 to 2007."

Investigators and others who have come into contact with Crane describe her as tough, strong-willed and irrepressible. Her case languished before Brown for years, even after a 2006 guilty plea, because she fired three court-appointed attorneys and sought treatment for a mental disorder.

Crane's guilty plea and sentencing agreement spare her from facing other identity theft charges.

No one can deny that Crane was a cunning crook.

Several years ago, Crane, who is African American, pulled up to a drive-through window of a Portland bank carrying the ID of a white woman. She made off with the victim's money by donning a blond wig and covering her face with makeup.

Well Buck, I do not have much cell time. And I sure don't think that in the context of a jail or prison population I would do well.

In the context of the SERE course, (Survival Evasion Resistance and Evasion), my making waves is never recommended; not if you want to survive the experience of incarceration in a place they do not abide by the Geneva Convention guidelines for prisoners of war.

One thing the SERE course and my four day stint in the Pierce County Correctional Confinement Facility taught me is my claustrophobia would probably have me insane in short order if locked up.

And I would have to shut-up, be as unassuming and private as possible and not make waves.

I have no criminal record, I do not steal, scam, or hurt people. I am very intelligent and have heard many things, including things from friends who worked in the psychiatric hospital ward that used to be at the Lane County Jail.

If you ever come up to Lane County/Eugene, I would be happy to introduce you to reputable people who would laugh their ass off at your inquiries about my possible criminal record.

Think about it Buck, I am on line here in my own name and you could get copies of every newspaper article about me upon contacting the Register Guard in Eugene or the Oregonian in Portland.

If I were a criminal, it would show there. Instead you would get pieces with some nice things said about me. The only articles in which a crime is mentioned and I am in them is when I was a youth working at 7 Eleven and got robbed.

In any event, I do believe people's criminal records are public record, so again, knock yourself out and do a background check on me. I have nothing to hide, and would only want to provide the meal of crow for you to dine on.

Buck, when you get arrested and spend a night and are put in isolation because you are stubborn and not buying the program, you have a person in charge of that area who has to monitor what you do 24 hours a day.

And at the Lane County jail, a woman gets sheets put on the door to preserve her from casual view if she does not want to don the duds. With men, nobody gives a shit there if they see you.

And most people into nudity do it with no fucking sexual connotation to it. I go to the hot springs, the skinny dipping area on the Coastal fork of the Willamette river and belong to Willamette-tans which is a nudist resort.

I just don't give a shit if I am seen naked, and it was high comedy for me to have these Lane County Deputies try to humiliate me as they did.

I am a pagan Buck, the Adam and Eve ashamed at the body thing does not wash with me.

Buck, it is LEGAL for women to go topless here in Eugene, AND THEY DO! I live and work and play in the Whiteaker Neighborhood and I am hardly on the cutting edge of body awareness here. We have many women who don't do the rediculous body shaving rituals common around the country, and dreadlocks are very common.

Eugene is a place one can wear their pajamas or go out in drag on the street and nobody would bat an eye. I find it hard to understand your consternation in other words.

Often I wear a hemp skirt over my pants if it is chilly out, nobody gives a rip. I know I sure don't. I mean, it's not like I would be doing something that would stand out locally.

Get a grip Buck. What's so socially responsible about tying a strip of cloth around your neck as a male giving another a tool to use to strangle the crap out of you? What is so sanctimonious about combing out hair, shaving the armpits and legs if one is female?

Did you know most men in the world wear non-bifurcated garments? Are you hung up about tattoos, scarification and piercings too?

I don't give a rip if you are totally mortified by thoughts of people not dressing/undressing or screwing only in the dark.

I take issue with bad conduct, not nakedness or fashion or style of clothing, jewelry or body art. I would beat the crap out of anyone hurting a woman or child. But merely being naked at Cougar Hot Springs or in a lawn chair at the designated place on the Willamette River means nothing bad, scandalous or strange.

Heh, I am very much in touch with reality, buddy. I am out of touch with a fun, large, fully and truly open forum. Thus I am not doing near as much posting as I once did.

The weather here is crappy though, not enough rain and it's too warm too early. And I can see the signs of that pollution that drifts in from Asia all too well.

The jail thing is very much one of the reasons I teach tree (and rock) climbing more then I do it these days. I am 55 Buck, and it's getting more fun to talk about some things I did that are intensely demanding physically then actually do them as much or deeply as I once did.

I am getting ready to take classes once again to polish up some work skills that will have me doing even less work outdoors which I prefer.

But hey, if I can increase my income back to the level it was when I could afford to fly as many hours a week as I once did, that will make the trade off worthwhile. I miss the days I was one of the owners of Cessna 172.

Dude, I would of preferred to have been left alone in my clothes. I was smart enough not to fight those assholes like they wanted mee too, and vindictively and intensely angry enough to refuse their clothes and stay naked as the only way I could pay them back for fucking with me.

And I didn't ask for a woman to be in charge of MI that night, and all I did was spend hours pacing the cell like a caged animal.

Had they asked, I likely that day would of done the dress down and put on their silly green suit for the night, but no, they had to play games and fuck with me.

I have always been intense and up for any kind of scrap if fucked with, and that night after that protest was no exception.

I got rid of the mattress too and refused to eat any of their crap and was of course released the next day because all we did was trespass and disrupt the day before.

Had I done a real crime and faced an extended stay, I would of likely just been more stoic about it and kept a low profile after they played their silly domination and intimidation game.

You surprise me by even suspecting I was being anything but the intense, loud, combative in a way I don't get charges pinned on me for it, lovable activist I usually am when doing non-violent civil disobedience.

Cut that out, you are being very exasperating. I feel like I am trying to explain the obvious to a five year old.
