Palin has performed her assigned role pretty well, IMO. She has co-opted the TBers into the GOP. You'll hear no more talk of TEA as Third Party. The GOPBorg has assimilated them.

Palin says she wants Republicans to fully absorb the grassroots Tea Party movement.

I'd love to see Palin in there because then we'd find out if her endtime Rapture/Armageddon theology is correct. She said just yesterday that it's disappointing to her that "we" are not at war with Iran yet.

It won't take long for her to "see" Russia and then Russia will "raise" (or perhaps it should be spelled "raze") her.
