Here at steelroots, the phone had been ringing at least once a week
theres was this guy who kept asking for devotional material for youth. He would make an order, wed fill it and a few days later hed call back for more. This went on for about 3 weeks before we said Who is this guy? Maybe we should find out
So we did. We asked him who he was and what he was doing. Turned out it was Jason Woods. Jason is an adaptive motocross rider (adaptive means loss of an extremity) who, this past summer took home the bronze medal in the Super X Adaptive Motocross race at Summer X-games 15. His story is absolutely incredible. Without alluding to his story before you WATCH IT, Jason has overcome some incredible obstacles to return to being a successful Moto X rider.
Not only do they have an incredible story, but Jason and his wife Kelly have an incredible heart for the kingdom of God. They are such giving people, the kind that the Lord has called us all to be. I hope you will be inspired by their story, and that it challenges you to never give up hope, always lean on the Lord for your strength, and remember Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. You can see them at other Moto X events, spreading the love of God to all they come in contact with. Some events to name a few are the Extremity Games, as well as X Games 16.
