My wish today is that you all have lots of love in your lives.

Our lives would be one vast desert without it.

Happy St. Valentine's to you, and thank you for all the great work you do chrissie.

You as well, because without love, why else even be here?

It is the tie that binds us all, that gives us hope and fires up our passions and enervates out dreams.

It is important to remember to take to heart that through political and social struggle we must also sow the fields of our hearts with it.

Good work is creating harmony and beauty of a garden that speaks to how our efforts were worth it.

A valentine is as green plant bursting from the seed. Give it sun, soil and water that is the very enterprise of living well with good purpose, and the the love and bonds it represents grow and flourish.

i'm getting tired of you sitting around waiting for males to figure things out.

it would be a good thing if you could contribute something other than wishes for love for everybody, if you're capable.

My wish today is that you all have lots of love in your lives.

Thanks, but I had mine last night. ;-)

You know what I got for my wife today? Today I finished moving all the huge unwieldy stuff we own, into our home. I got to show her how manly I am, and that I still can lift a 350 lb table top, and carry it across the street in moving traffic, in the middle of the blizzard we are getting tonight.

I am the luckiest man in the world, because I have a wife who actually appreciates all the the things I do. Little does she know that I appreciate the fact that she's willing to put up with me.

Hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!!!

Damn.

I'm impressed. I don't think that I could ever handle a 350lb. table top...

Today, my 20 year old interior, met the 40 year old exterior, and got a serious beat down.

I think my days of hefting 350 lb tabletops are officially over. I need to make some stronger friends. All of my friends are sissies, and are always calling me to help them move heavy stuff. All of them were conveniently busy romancing their spouses.

Oh well. My spouse was sufficiently romanced. Just too tired to do anything after the move! Pretty funny actually.

In the words of the inimitable Toby Keith, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was".

I know that doesn't quite apply but, at 74, it kinda/sorta does.

My oldest boy bought me that CD some time back and I love it. ;-)

I can relate to that at my age too.
