Having spent three weeks in a hospital in Naples, Florida with my wife I couldn’t help noticing what was going on in the hospital and I had a lot of time to talk to the doctors and nurses about what I had observed. Below is a commentary from an ER Doctor. Do you think this might be a big reason our health care system and our social security system are so screwed up? Do you think this might be a big reason our taxes keep going up? Who do you think these people are going to vote for? From a Florida ER doctor: "I live and work in a state overrun with illegal's. They make more money having kids than we earn working full-time. Today I had a 25-year old with 8 kids - that’s right 8; all illegal anchor babies and she had the nicest nails, cell phone, hand bag, clothing, etc.. She makes about $1,500 monthly for each; you do the math. I used to say, “We are the dumbest nation on earth.” Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) for we elected the idiot ideologues who have passed the bills that allow this. Sorry, but we need a revolution. Vote them all out in 2010. " --- REMEMBER --- IN NOVEMBER 2010, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! This is an insult and a kick in the butt to all of us... Get mad and pass it on - I don't know how, but maybe some good will come of this travesty. If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004. She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22.' It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month. This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees! Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years. And not to receive a increase for 2010 Vote them all out of office……. Please forward this to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing for the past 11 years to over-taxed Americans.

I got this same email the other day and I did the math. Eight kids, 1,500 PER MONTH PER CHILD is 12,000. That is 144,000 PER YEAR. I tried but could not find a source that would confirm Florida paid anything like that in welfare payments. Not saying they should be paying any but that sounds kinda suspicious. At least to me it did. What do you think?
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. Just perhaps that $1500 includes EVERYTHING, not just cash???? If so then it may well be correct. Remember they get free medical, free education, all those freebies add up.
I snoped it and found nothing. It smells like race baiting to me. Not that I go out of my way to support any of this. Just sounds kinda like an agenda. And when I see the ladies that I think are on welfare and child support,well, doesn't look like a lifestyle. I have a vague memory that the more kids you have the less incremental payments there are. It would be lunacy to do other wise. OK I know lunacy seems to be the system.

Yeah, maybe if everything the state gives them, or makes available is included. But I don't believe there is a state in the U.S. that pays anyone anything like 1500 a month per child in welfare payments. If they did the population of the state(s) that did would probably be anywhere from four to ten times what it is now.

Yep, people with money, insurance (or both) are paying for people who either don't have either one or claim they don't and are taking advantage of the situation. I would bet that the parents of that illegal could have made some payments if they couldn't pay it all at once. But of course they shouldn't even be in the U.S., let alone receiving services that other people are paying for.

And then the medical financial cartel will squeeze the no insures for a inflated cost with high interest rates compounding. The Mafia is a good corporate citizen compared to the Frankenstien that is the medical "care" system we have now. My United Health Care CEO received ONE BILLION DOLLARS, in one year. This was accomplished by denying claims and raising preminums - and there is no choice, no Adam Smith's unseen hand here. SICK.

Tom... Sick??? Better believe it. I have Federal BC/BS. Its cost is $1250 a month, govt and me. I pay over $300 for medicare per month. The kicker??? Medicare pays 90 per cent of the bills, BC does not cover all of the remaining ten percent. Now, tell me big business and the politicians do NOT sleep together. Its a damned racket and the masses are being fleeced.
ROGER THAT. And as most expensive costs for health care, naturally, occur when sixtyfive or older, that's when the Insurance co drop you (they have a hundred ways of doing this) and pass you off to the state. The more you know of this scam the sicker it gets.

No referrals, bad doctor, no pay raise. Go in with hangnail, referred to a hangnail specialist. Latest racket is if they find out you snore, you are referred to a sleep apnea specialist and his gang of thieves. Tell the Doc no, he gets all ticked off.
Spend thirteen bones for a box of Breathe Right strips and problem solved. (In many cases.)
Snoring. The wife told the doc not only no but hell no, she thot he was gonna cry. We have both started turning down "tests" and "specialists" if there is the slightest doubt.
And I think a lot of medical providers are as distressed about the Insurance monopoly as we are.
