Reward JerryDay by subscribing to his youtube channel then, pass this 4um link along to everyone on your list, specifically asking them to also pass it along... please. Let's run up some numbers while waking up some folks to a great way to deal with the feds when they come a knockin.'
Don't open the door but, if you must, have a tripod and video camera already running. Hell, practice how you will handle the whole scene. Or, just flip your digital camera to video and catch what you can. They are coming and they want your voluntary cooperation.
Don't volunteer, for God's sake. Ask a few questions of your own and catch them on video making fools of themselves. I Love It. You can use the video option of your digital camera as well. Hold it steady.
I will make a DVD for the project which contains this clip and the best clips of these folks at the front door. Oh, baby, this could wake up some folks
"Here is my personal copy of the Constitution, please, show where your authority comes cause' all I find in the document is a head count every ten years. Oh, and please, look into the lens and speak clearly."
I think one of the confusions on the Census is that the Constitution mandates that one be taken every ten years.
The additional questions "Christmas Tree'd" onto the Census raise valid concerns. The Census has valid purposes, as do the questions, as regards American civil society. However, like any information collection the government ends up going overboard and there are valid concerns over some of what is asked.
Just remember that the poor sucker knocking on your door was hired to collect data and likely has very little real knowledge of what is done with it. Census Enumerators, as they are called, are temps hired just for the one and only purpose of collecting the data. Once that portion of the Census is done it is back to the unemployment line.
So, if it upsets you take it out on your Congresscritter not the poor sap just trying to pay the rent and buy some groceries.
Just remember that the poor sucker knocking on your door was hired to collect data
I received via email a job alert from indeed.com which included census "enumerator" positions. The link went to a page with info explaining when, where, what, etc. Included there was the PDF practice entrance exam at the following link. Of particular interest was question #7 and #27.
