If I said that MADD has achieved nothing over the years, anyone could easily list all of the laws that have been enacted all over the US as a result of MADD's efforts.

It's not about where I want it to go, it's about what "truthers" themselves have called for. Over the years I've heard "truthers" demand a new investigation. They've demanded the "real" perpetrators be brought to justice.
The 9/11 "truth" movement hasn't gotten a millimeter closer to fulfilling either of those objectives.

But it is not a waste of time, like you seem to think it is. You are limiting it to one goal, and that being a genuine 9/11 investigation leading to them being strapped to a gurney to die.
That this investigation wasn't done, and we have shown it wasn't done, and that it will never be done, then people start questioning what our "leaders" are doing in this area AND in other areas. That is the best goal we can ever hope for, IMO.

People are questioning the government over financial decisions, not 9/11. That's not going to change. Economic matters will always be more important to more people than any conspiracy theory.

For most people, sure. Even conspiracy facts are ignored by most. The masses are asses. I'll take quality over quantity every time. To me, people that are not afraid to go against the grain, for genuine reasons, are people I want to associate with.
Questioning is not limited to .gov financial decisions. I don't even care about those people. If they ignore what we are doing in many other life and death areas, and limit it to how .gov handles money, then fuck them.
I see calling for more thorough and honest investigations into 9/11 as a propaganda tactic. It might not be intentional but IMO that is what it is.
