Debra Medina agrees that 9/11 truthers' beliefs are 'despicable' (AUDIO) After being interviewed by Glenn Beck and characterized by the talk show host as a '9/11/ Truther', Debra Medina issued a statement Feb. 11 on her website regarding the Beck interview. She stated in part, "I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way.... The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered ..." Questioned by Dallas talk show host Mark Davis last week, Medina had stronger and more derisive views of 9/11 truthers, agreeing with the host that anyone who dare would believe that the U.S. government was involved in the 2001 attack is "despicable'. Partial transcript: Davis: "...it would have been over in a day, if after the Beck thing, you'd have said boy, I'm sorry, I messed up. I should've identified this 9/11 truther movement as the despicable paranoid cult that they are, what a horrible hateful belief to have in your head that 9/11 was an inside job. You might recall, I have stated here many times that in nearly 40 years of back room politics, I met but one honest politician, just one. The rest were dishonest and or had money, booze, drug and sex problems. Politics attracts those kind. We go with what we have, at least Paul got into the starting gate, even if it was backwards.

We either work with the concepts that created the nation and made it the greatest ever or we try our own way. We've tried 'our own way' (?) in spades now and have the tangible, sickening results. We have to get back to basics (Constitution, Individual Responsibility, Lawful Taxation and 'currency', minding our own business, ending redistribution and entitlements, etc.) or else we end up supporting the mcCains, obamalamadingdongs, bushies, clintons, et al the puppets that work the matrix. I'd like to see you understand this while we all have time to work together. IMO, with Beck it isn't just one issue. Honestly? I think his ADD is a real drawback to his personal and professional life. His amusement value for me has ended. Had he stayed in teaching mode (impossible; see his ADD) afa the constitution, the Fed, etc. and stopped the damn crying, and references to his alcoholism, he would have made a difference. Like Medina, he damaged himself especially since his speech Saturday at CPAC. It will take months for me to know if I'm right, but I'm thinking his rally on 8/28 will flop as will his events that precede it.

to say i'm disappointed is a vast understatement. 9/11 is a litmus test for me too though, in this case, i could swallow a candidate's disbelief for the state's issues she would bring to the table. yeah, i'm choosing the lesser of 3 evils-- something i swore i'd never do again. well, my vote's been cast and i'm back in the f'ing system. and what's really chapping my rear end is that Medina thinks i'm despicable. that means she also thinks that the families of the 9/11 victims who are asking questions are despicable too.

so the only thing we can do is keep chipping away. the logic of the situation is becoming so transparent, it's unlikely the gatekeepers will be able to keep this bottled up forever. the critical thing is peak oil: as the living standard in america deteriorates, people will start trying to figure out what happened, they'll become aware of the neocons' confessed need of a new pearl harbor, they'll see the logic of the ensuing operation, designed to control oil, oil transport routes... designed also to deprive china and india of access to oil. it's getting too obvious to deny.
