Debra Medina agrees that 9/11 truthers' beliefs are 'despicable' (AUDIO)
February 21, 11:57 PM
LA County Libertarian Examiner Martin Hill

After being interviewed by Glenn Beck and characterized by the talk show host as a '9/11/ Truther',

Debra Medina issued a statement Feb. 11 on her website regarding the Beck interview. She stated in part, "I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way.... The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered ..."

Questioned by Dallas talk show host Mark Davis last week, Medina had stronger and more derisive views of 9/11 truthers, agreeing with the host that anyone who dare would believe that the U.S. government was involved in the 2001 attack is "despicable'. Partial transcript:

Davis: "...it would have been over in a day, if after the Beck thing, you'd have said boy, I'm sorry, I messed up. I should've identified this 9/11 truther movement as the despicable paranoid cult that they are, what a horrible hateful belief to have in your head that 9/11 was an inside job. Why didnt you do that?

Rather, I see millions of deaths for one reason or another, some self induced like martial law, perhaps others from starvation or nukes, who knows, but I'm more and more starting to see little if anything positive ever for us as a civilization.

Agreed.

The only question is not if, but when.

I wont be here to see it or live it, just as well.

Why didnt you do that?

Medina: "Yeah I um, I agree with ya Mark, I laughed it off whenever he said I was a truther cause I thought it was so absurd and i should have just said NO, absolutely I'm not a truther. I think it's abundantly clear I'm not a truther; um ya know those things happen to us and we pick up say should've done that better, move on, and that's what we've done."

Later the host continues "someone walking around with the belief that America would do this to its' own people .. that president Bush and those around him would slaughter our own citizens in order to justify war , is a despicable thing to believe.

Medina: "Agreed!"

Davis: "And you want to be on record as agreeing with that?"

Medina: "Agreed . yeah"...I'm..I...I was thinking in terms of the commission report, not in terms of what, ya know, individuals are out there doing, and the commission report is the thing that I was getting back to.

People looking for work now aren't going to find it for years. That's simply too long for people not prepared to live that long on what they now have. I expect those problems to begin burgeoning to unignorable levels by the end of the year.

This is why we need to start our own economy, totally apart from the "official" economy.

But it won't happen until more are feeling the pain.

I'm tellin' ya, the only thing that's gonna save current generations of Americans is a redeal of our nation's government, "abolishing it" as the Declaration of Independence states.

Right, it's time to disband the federal government. That's the ONLY solution I'll get behind. I've had it with politics. The crooks deliberately creating the problems have no intention of changing their course, and anyone who can't see that by now, is functionally retarded.

Then she calls you idiots and you still want to vote for her. I can maybe understand wanting to vote for her. But why dis Beck for bringing up a relevant question?

Oddly enough, it once was, now I just dont know.

Back to my primary point, the only solution is a complete redeal/abolishment of the current system.

Agreed. But we need a transitional system to get us from point A to point B. That is where our own economy can come in.

9/11 being sustained is the lynchpin in the NWO's hold on liberty.

And it helps not at all that people will continue to latch onto a candidate hoping that finally there is someone to represent them. How many fucking times do people need to get raked over the coals before they fucking GET IT!

Get it thru your thick skulls that they will never represent you. They dont give a rats ass about you. In fact, they hate you and wish you were fucking dead. Do you get it now? Those that thought this sniveling cunt was going to represent them, do you get it now?!?! You are on your own. Until the next candidate comes along, that is...

This is where we are losing the propaganda battle. We preach to the choir, and think everyone in the pews gets it. They don't get it.

Disheartening information - it's amazing how long the official 9/11 fable has existed, and how .gov and their tools have turned it into a political tar-baby to discredit their opposition.

When I met Debra, the furthest thing from my mind was asking her what she thought of our New Pearl Harbor type event, and who executed it.

My bad.

But why dis Beck for bringing up a relevant question?

9/11 Truth is not an issue the state government of Texas can deal with at all. Now if it were the 1960s and we were dealing with the massive conspiracy/coverup that was the JFK assassination, I can see relevance in asking a potential governor about what he or she planned to do about that.

Having said that, I am puzzled, first of all, as to why Beck is interested in taking sides in a Texas GOP gubernatorial primary, as he obviously HAS very openly sided with Rick Perry (Beck wants to "French kiss" him), and also why this would be of interest to his audience outside of Texas. IOW, why did he regionalize his show that day and on following days when he continued to talk about the issue as he tried to equate continuing to question 9/11 with "Holocaust denial" or something?

Of course, the biggest blunder of all was the decision by Debra Medina to talk with Beck at all. Perhaps she was not wanting to give him a chance to demonize her in another way by saying "Debra Medina refused to go on my show." But that would have been preferable to what happened by accepting his invitation.

Why does Beck even have guests? Limbaugh doesn't.

"I'm sure they all got the same brainwashing in government skools that we all did, more or less, from a curriculum content standpoint."

Good point. Though I see public schools failing to teach people how to learn and think for themselves. Which is something people should aggressively do throughout their lives.

Public schools are more into socialization that teaches compliance and a flock of sheep mentality. I was lucky to go to a private school, took Latin, had to write long papers complete with footnotes and got points deducted for any lack of attention to detail or made it obvious my thought process was involved in the crafting of it.

They punish independent thinkers and people who show spunk and audacity in public schools. Most of which would do the country more good if they were closed then by being allowed to remain open to continue their dirty work.

'm under no delusion that everyone in the pews gets it.

Neither am I.

But I am surprised how eager some are; people that should have known better, get all excited and fired up when a candidate throws them a rotten bone.

They know all politicians are scum, yet they will allow themselves to be fooled over and over again. All that politician has to do is say the right words. Never mind that politicians actions. Just words are enough to satisfy them.

You can see it right here on this board. They talk about candidates as if they matter.

Here is the way I see it. Beck thinks 911 "truthers" are nuts. That is his right.

He caught wind that Medina is a 911 truther.

So he thinks she is unfit.

So he asks her about it. (freedom of the press and speech)

She likely has some 911 truth sympathies. But she is a wisy washy politician (most are). So she calculates and decides not to mention that she is a closet truther.

All Beck did was ask a question. You may think it is not relevant to the governors race and others may agree. But the question is out there and she could have answered it anyway she wanted. She could have hit a home run out of the park and said she thinks it was an inside job. But she thought that would minimize her chances. So she chose her path. No sense getting mad at Beck, all he did was ask a question. A question people were interested in. I suspect christine and lodwick wouldn't have supported her if she thought 911 truthers were despicable like she said. She sounds like a typical finger in the wind politician.

So here we have it. Her and Beck think the same about 911. But you folks hate Beck and love Medina for that view. It isn't logical.

Beck's question to Medina is as relevant to Texas politics as is what brand of wacky religion she does or doesn't belong to. Medina's mistake was to not have refered Beck to one hooked nosed Jew, Larry Silverstein, and his "pull it" comment (not to mention the many billions of dollars his $25 million personal investment made him in a mere 6-weeks)
