I don't know. I have been out of the loop for a long while now. The last time I went to anything was at the silver eagle...Then I moved to MO for awhile and then I moved back,,,....Now I see he has his place up for sale.... It's tough to keep my chin up.
diebold has a reputation to protect I voted on a paper ballot but while I was signing in I asked how the ballots would be tabulated the gal said by computer, I then asked when was the constitution amended she asked which constitution I said the Texas state constitution which got the lots best dumb stare. I said surely there was an amendment to the constitution to allow for counting the ballots in secret as the "old" constitution requires the ballots to be counted in the open. what will the county election official say when they are challenged on the numbers they claim as election results and the peoples demand that they prove those numbers? there is no way they could validate the numbers from the electronic voting machines which makes those numbers null and void.

grrrrr.... How do we contest this? Every county election return I check out... I look at the early vote first. Followed by the total vote. EVERY ELECTION RESULT I LOOK AT SEEMS TO BE THE SAME 51 to 49 SPLIT!!!! This is intolerable! 75% has reported and it is still possible that Perry will lose his 51% majority despite the speechs.... Still.... This 51 to percent to perry and the 49 percent split between the opponents... The math adds up and it adds up hard...this is bullshit.

it's funny how despite repeated dashings our hope for change (how i hate using those words now) renews only to be dashed again. when will we finally conclude that this country is doomed and us along with it? hmmmm....what's that i hear? i think it's the fat lady's first note.
The problem with electronic voting is that about the only way to prove fraud is to be able to catch them in the act loading in the predetermined results or get leverage on someone "in the know". There are simply too many ways to rig it that are effectively traceless. The numbers may well underscore the liklihood of fraud but statistical anomalies only point in the direction of fraud they don't provide proof of fraud.

How about asking for an audit? Something illegal went down last night. For the voter turn out records and the polling results not matching the turn out I'd say something very illegal happened. TEXAS DEMANDS AND ELECTION AUDIT!

I think Medina probably got a few more percentage points than was counted for her, but in reality, Bilderberg Rick was NEVER in danger of having to go through an honest election here. Tea Party activists coming up short in Texas Legislature races To me, this is more prima facie evidence that the game is rigged in the GOPer primary, although there was one incumbent, Tommy Merritt of Longview, in this part of the state who lost to a Tea Party challenger. Merritt, like Perry, spent a great deal of his career as a Dem first. The difference is that he failed to become as right-wing in his politics as Perry has.

A worthy digression nonetheless. Few, certainly none in the media which continually popularizes only the selfish and self indulgent. Of course the media is populated by the selfish and self indulgent thus that is where their sympathies lie. And they do do a good job of lying. Now that's a mouthful. All true of course. The media is in the business of implanting memes and manipulating their audience to accept evil as good and self indulgence as virtuous. No doubt the viewpoint of the Psychiatrists running the show. Gloria Slime'em even admitted in her book that the seed money for Ms. Magazine came from the CIA. Given that the CIA is not known for virtuous endeavors one must suspect other motives. I should think that "deathstyle" works, and that is where this culture has been heading - circling the bowl in an ever dwindling spiral. Being ever the optimist I do see hopeful signs though. Simply the recognition that we are being manipulated and are in a dwindling spiral is the starting point to reversing it.

Having played more than my share of Poker I know that persistence pays. Of course it also requires perception and judgment but quitters don't play winning Poker. More than once I have turned a losing day into a winning day just by tightening up and hanging in there - along with the occasional well chosen bluff.

I never bluff. ;) I think there is nothing more satisfying than bluffing the winning hand into laying it down. The key to running a successful bluff is do it when every one at the table "knows" that it would be crazy to bluff in that situation. I very rarely got called on my bluffs. I think I knew I had arrived when I could take up a hundred dollar stack and bet it into a well known calling station and watch him lay it down because he knew I wouldn't bluff in that situation. That and bluffing the owner of the card room off of a pot. I burned him too many times because I always had it when he called so it was a green light to go for it when the situation arose. Poker is life in the microcosm of a game. You can learn a lot about someone's character sitting across the table from them.
