John Patrick Bedell, the Pentagon shooter who injured two Pentagon police officers, has died from wounds received during firefight with Pentagon police. Motive and reasons why he would seek to attack the Pentagon are now in full circulation. Conspiracy theories such as JFK’s assassination and 9/11 are being speculated upon regarding John Patrick Bedell. One speculation says that resentment of the U.S. government and “suspicions over the 9/11 attacks” have surfaced in writings by the Californian identified as the man fatally wounded in a hail of weapons’ fire.
Now that he is dead, and well beyond giving anyone any real information or insight into his life, John Patrick Bedell will be known by the writings and Internet postings he has left behind. Will they reveal him to be a conspiracy theorist, a TEA Partier, an anarchist, a 9/11 Truther? Or is it simply a matter of yet another Joesph Andrew Stack mindset?
Time will tell. This story is far from over, unfortunately.
