The Democrat Party is beyond corrupt, [i]t's also evil.

And what is this evil that triumphs when good men do nothing? What are we really talking about here and is it worth fighting for? Is it worth turning our heads and allowing evil to continue on while we do nothing? (and I count voting for a third party candidate when knowing that he has absolutely no chance of defeating the Democrat, and worse, actually planning and hoping to knock out the Republican candidate who otherwise might have defeated the Democrat, as doing nothing).

Corruption is accepting campaign cash from the Chinese in exchange for military hardware. Corruption is accepting campaign cash as bribes from Indonesian power brokers, from Buddhist Monks, from corrupt corporate moguls. Corruption is defined by the myriad criminal acts and practices of the Clintons and the Gores and their corrupt Democrat minions.

Corruption is the land grabs, the power grabs, the gun grabs, the bribery, the shady deals, the high crimes and treason. Corruption is the theft of campaign dollars through forced labor union deductions. Corruption is the systematic indoctrination of several generations of our youth with socialist dogma via government school systems. Corruption is the removal of God from public life and substituting in the evil homosexual/feminist agenda and the destruction of moral society. Corruption is lying to the public about global warming and the selling of the Kyoto treaty. Corruption is giving up our national sovereignty to the United Nations. Corruption is the abuses of office, obstruction of justice, lying, perjury and subornation of perjury. Poster Comment:

"Bush Bashing" seems to be the daily sport of choice here on 4um and it too often takes the form of published lies, slurs and exaggerations. This current FreeRepublic repost by Jim Robinson is intended as a partial antidote reminding us that the Democrat alternative may be worse, although I do not share JimRob's "evil-Democrat" vehemence. He's right on the facts. I resigned FR a year and a half ago because JimRob would not allow exploration there of voting for a Democrat as way to straighten out the Republican Party and set the nation back on a path toward small-government conservatism. The two-party system is now, however, utterly beyond hope IMO ...

Bush deserves and has earned all the bashing and criticism he gets here. He's the biggest traitor to ever live in the White House.

Rimjob and his forum are nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the GOP and the neocons. Quoting Rimjob is quoting treason, you might as well start quoting Benedict Arnold, at least he won the day at Saratoga.

Good for you, I resigned about 3 years ago.

The two-party system is now, however, utterly beyond hope IMO ...

That's the smartest thing to even come off your keyboard. Why don't you do what I do and start voting Libertarian? The Republican party cannot be fixed, but IMO neither can this country

Rothbard, in my view, is the best economic mind of the 20th Century (not to short Von Mises) but the Libertarian Party is so focused on ideological purity that their preferred "solutions", if implemented, would bury the economy more quickly than either the Democrats or Republicans can do (although they are striving mightily to do so). The offsetting factor is that the Libertarians would not be allowed to implement their agenda if, say, they were successful in electing a President. But I agree that the country has moved quite beyond 2-party politics and is headed for a brick wall. Both major parties are going to be a thing of the past in the not-too-distant future IMO ...

No income tax, no WOD, no WOT and no gun laws would bury the economy? You're smoking the good stuff....maybe your already a Libertarian? Not every Libertarian supports every plank in the agenda but, overall a Libertarian government would be freedom from the tyranny we live under now.

Both major parties are going to be a thing of the past in the not-too-distant future IMO ...

And the difference between them is nothing more than lip service, so keep voting for the problem.

BTW What's going to replace them?

If that's what you really believe, I don't understand why you object to Bush-bashing.

IMO, the problems with Libertarians is that they don't adopt the incrementalism that Socialists and Communists have always used to such good effect. As an aside, I don't count the Libertarian I mentioned in the post to Crack Monkey as trying to do this, because she was inserting socialist ideology in her platform. I'm talking dropping things like drug legalization and open borders from the platform until the country can be stabilized to the point that at such time they can be explored.

A particular instance is the open borders issue, right now as it stands that is national suicide, but if we had a period of assimilation (NO immigration) and followed it with a policy of 0 aid to immigrants, the ones to follow would all be the type we actually want, hard workers who don't leech off the system...
