(CBS/AP) Six women in New Jersey are recovering after they received buttocks-enhancement injections containing silicone used to caulk bathtubs. State health officials say the women, from Essex County, apparently underwent cosmetic procedures from unlicensed providers. Investigators have not determined if the cases are related. No arrests have been made. Instead of medical-grade silicone, the women received a diluted version of nonmedical-grade silicone. "The same stuff you use to put caulk around the bathtub," said Steven M. Marcus, executive and medical director of the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System, according to The Star-Ledger. State epidemiologist Tina Tan says there's the risk for more serious complications when infections are not treated early. Gregory Borah, chief of plastic surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, told the newspaper the incident was "a tragedy." Using over-the-counter silicone can cause abscesses that he said resemble "a big zit." Borah, also president of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, said the botched procedures underscore the need for patients seeking such enhancement to seek out licensed professionals in a sterile setting, the newspaper reported.

I'll just sit here and shake my head in a confused and befuddled manner. I've got them done twice, 600ccs each time. It's important to massage it to prevent lumps. I got a lump in the form of a line on one of my cheeks... As for the scarring, you'll have a mark of where the butt in injected. Silicone straps from the pharmacy will help with the scarring. Or there's stri-vectin and some ppl say aloe vera gel. Any suggestions on getting rid of the lump, once it's formed? Some girls get sick, it may be for a number of factors, whether it's taking medications or taking something else that thins the blood. It's important not to sit on it or to do traveling the same day, to prevent migration.... they say hydrogel migrates as well and from what i'm told, hydrogel will make your butt go down, since it's 97% water based.... I think it is more than that. I think there is a cultural and racial genetic component as well. Until that is recognized, no amount of taxing pizza and soda will help.

Click for Privacy and Preparedness files Live free or Did that yesterday in a way. Packed out (brought from the back room and shelved) 21 boxes of cat litter. At 25 lbs each that is 525 lbs. My job is not to stock shelves but it is a minor aspect of what I do. So far the weight loss has been easy. I'm working full time and don't take breaks or lunch so food intake has drastically reduced. My weight was not "genetic" or "metabolism" it was intake pure and simple. The weight is coming off slowly. While disappointing in the short run I know it is more likely to stay off in the long run. There has been some minor yo-yoing but over all trend is down. I'm hoping to lose 10 more before I go buy new pants. The ones I have though are already hanging on me.

Drink water with your meals instead of beverages. For some reason, water seems to help to limit the appetite.

i had my butt injected with 1200 cc of silicone at once. since then it migrates, but lately got worse... I'm looking for help, I went to 4 doctors, but they all said it's impossible to remove it.. It migrates on the sides, it started to migrate to the front even ! I have chronic inflamation, my body is fighting with it and cannot get rid of it. can anybody please help me...
