A DEA officer stops at a ranch in Texas, and talks with an old rancher. He tells the rancher, “I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.”

The rancher says, “Okay, but do not go in that field over there,” as he points out the location.

The DEA officer verbally explodes saying, “Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me.” Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removes his badge and proudly displays it to the rancher. “See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish . . . . On any land. No questions asked or answers given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand?”

The rancher nods politely, apologizes, and goes about his chores.

A short time later, the old rancher hears loud screams and sees the DEA officer running for his life chased by the rancher’s big Santa Gertrudis bull . . . .

With every step the bull is gaining ground on the officer, and it seems likely that he’ll get gored before he reaches safety. The officer is clearly terrified. The rancher throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the top of his lungs . . . . .

“Your badge. Show him your BADGE!” Subscribe to *Humor-Weird News*

Years ago being a cop was a respectable profession. They served the people.

Now they are arrogant criminals in their own right and the populace is the enemy.

Power corrupts, especially these days.

Corruption is now part of the job.

the correct answer is 100%, the cops who actively commit barbarous acts of shadyism, and all those who say and do nothing about those committing barbarous acts of shadyism.

the first thing to consider before starting a thousand mile walk is that a thousand miles is a long ways to be walking.

LOL, you sure got that right. One day last year I set out on a hike to one of the main thoroughfares near where I live now. About four miles one way. I ain't as young as I used to be and I was hurting when I got back (especially my hips and knees). I can't even imagine what would have to happen for me to start out to hike 1,000 miles. It would be something dire and drastic.

That is just for deputies. It says nothing about local and state pigs. None of this surprised me.

this is how I consider any major endeavor I plan to undertake; as you know I do custom wood working, I seldom make elaborate drawings of projects. I start with the materials a rough sketch with overall dimensions then I spend the next few nights awake in bed building the entire project. I know where every fastener is going to be placed before I cut a single part.

Well, just remember to never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his Moccasins. Then you're a mile away and you have his shoes.
