By JoAnne Allen WASHINGTON, March 9 (Reuters) - About 16 percent of Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 are infected with genital herpes, making it one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases, U.S. health officials said on Tuesday. Black women had the highest rate of infection at 48 percent and women were nearly twice likely as men to be infected, according to an analysis by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About 21 percent of women were infected with genital herpes, compared to only 11.5 percent of men, while 39 percent of blacks were infected compared to about 12 percent for whites, the CDC said. There is no cure for genital herpes, or herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2), which can cause recurrent and painful genital sores and also increases the likelihood of acquiring and transmitting the AIDS virus. It is related to herpes simplex virus 1, or oral herpes, which causes cold sores. Several drugs are available to treat herpes symptoms and outbreaks, including acyclovir, which is available generically or under the Zovirax brand name, and valacyclovir, known generically as Valtrex -- both made by GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK.L). Ganciclovir, sold as Zirgan, is made by privately-held Sirion Therapeutics, Inc. The CDC estimates that more than 80 percent of people with genital herpes do not know they are infected. "The message is herpes is quite common. The symptoms can be often very innocuous," Dr. John Douglas of the CDC said in a teleconference. "Because herpes is so prevalent it becomes ... a really important reason to use condoms on a consistent and correct basis with all of your partners," Douglas said. Douglas said the increased rate of infection in blacks is not do to increased risk behavior but likely due to biological factors that make women more susceptible as well as the higher rate of infection within black communities. The CDC estimates that there are 19 million new sexually transmitted disease infections every year in the United States, costing the health care system about $16 billion annually. Who would knowingly have sex with someone they knew had herpes, or any other STD for that matter, but use a condom to "protect" themselves? Now, if they don't know it, why would they then think that using a condom would protect them from catching some unknown form of crotch rot that they aren't sure their "partner" has? Also, who in their right mind would trust their health, and their lives, to a piece of latex? And this crap about "all of your partners" that this Douglas moron said: how many "partners" do you need? Must you screw anything that breathes?

Yeah, I know. I've seen it many times before. My last experience was back when I was on the road. My last co-driver was black. We got along OK because he worked as hard as I did, but otherwise all he ever wanted to talk about was going to clubs and getting laid, and all the women he had, and planned to have, and was in the process of having. That gets old after a while. Why not have a conversation on a higher plane? And I'd eavesdrop on conversations just like that. There is something really sick about that whole culture. There is nothing wrong with sex, but they take it to a whole new level. The thought of settling down and marrying someone faithful and clean doesn't seem to cross their minds. And that is the only way to avoid STDs.

Herpes virus 8 was discovered six years ago and causes a skin cancer called Kaposi's sarcoma. In the United States, the cancer occurs almost exclusively in people with AIDS. Kaposi's sarcoma has been present for centuries in Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. But it was rare in the United States until the start of the AIDS epidemic in the early 1980s. Dr. Patrick S. Moore of Columbia University, who discovered the virus, said exposure to saliva may explain the high rate of infection in parts of Africa, where more than 70 percent of people may carry herpes virus 8.

People, as a rule, respond to their emotions and a desire to belong to the group, and propaganda feeds their emotions and groupthink by reducing what they want the masses to learn down into the lowest common denominator in that population. That is not my assessment, but Adolph Hitler's, in Mein Kampf. He knew first hand how powerful propaganda is, because the British used it against them in WW1 and he respected their abilities, and hated the German version of it because it was totally ineffective. A classic example of this propaganda is King Chimp the First and his quote "They hate us for our freedoms", and his "Catapult the propaganda" remark that I am sure made Cheney want to strangle him for letting that cat out of the bag. IMO this is why the 3rd party never gains traction. It is because they rely on facts, and not propaganda. That word propaganda has some bad vibes associated with it, but it is extremely effective, as I'm sure you agree with me on how well it works for those that want to lord it over us. Propaganda is neutral, and only a tool. But it's a damn powerful tool. Now propaganda does not work for those here. We see through it. But we aren't the target of this propaganda because we do not accept them as leaders. So facts suffice, even if some do not like the way I present those facts. I do it to rattle their cages, and then I throw it right in their faces. Some people don't like that, but I don't care if they like me or not. The time for playing nice-nice is over, IMO.

Bob isn't a dry facts guy; he's a master propagandist in his own right, IMO. And I think he's right that humor is a better weapon, and anti-white whites the better target. Everybody knows the public schools are bad, right? And parents should be involved in education, right? So how about: "Do you know what your child learned in school today?" Then you can use the system's own lies as a defense: You can say you weren't saying blacks are bad or that there are inherent differences between races, you can say public schools are making underclass blacks underclass. This won't fool or stop anti-whites in the slightest, but their own response will be instructive to many who are on our side but don't know it yet.
