Bot a liter of Pom juice from a eighty yo indian lady, who was sweet and kinda onery a few hours ago in this town on the northern edge of Mexico´s largest lake, Chapala. We chilled it down, I went off to buy a bottle of 100% aguave tequlia (do NOT drink anything but)and made a drink of the Pom juice, tequlia and a hunking shot of lime juice from fresh limes, natch, and a few strawberries and a cube of ice.
I am sucking the strawberries as I peck, and it is a pretty wonderful concoction.
O - the cost of the liter of Pom juice, slightly fermented, was $350 pesos, or $USD2.80.
The 750 ml of 100% aguave tequlia was $95mn or $USD 7.80. Might last a few days, at least if Sue has her way!!
Sue had a cold soup today, cream of peach, interesting, and we had Shrimp de Diablo, a couple of Bloody Marys that were simply the best, all fresh ingreidents I guess.
I must recommend Pomigranite juice, lime and tequlia. And Lago Chapala.
