Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin) investigates the supernatural in this 1970s series. In this episode A state Senate candaisate in Chicago makes a pact with the sevil. He uses his supernatural powers to kill five people. Kolchak tells his editor that this man is evil incarnate and will go all the way to the White House if he is not stopped. Kolchak does stop him by using holy water blessed by Pope Paul VI which had been obtained while on vacation in Rome by Miss Emily the octogenarian writer of the INS advice to the lovelorn column.
