Qaeda is actually CIAda and even if it were an independent "terra" org, its members are Sunni Arabs who do not usually, if ever, cooperate with Shia Persians.

But Petraeus is counting on the dumbed-down population to believe whatever he spews and he's probably correct that there's no way to underestimate the intelligence of the warmongering booboisie of 'Murca.
