The good news is is that Sue is at the great dentist right now getting excellent service for 28USD. I had my teeth cleaned by Dr Martha yesterday (she might be twenty four yo) and as of now she is my dentist. To have a specialist endodontist clean your teeth is a proposition you will not likely have in the US She is an endodontist, or a root canal specialist, and does a normal RC for $1500MP - we paid $2500MP in Vallarta for Treys - we waz robbed!!!! This place is soooo nice, and the ranch cabin we have is really too good to believe, outrageous really. Sue and I are Mexican Rancheros for a few days. I could get used to this without much trouble at all. This morning we heard a tap at the front door, and I fully expected it to be Sergios older brother, brandishing a MAC 9 antomatic pistol, telling us to get the hell out of the place, and take our stinking donkey with us-; but no it was Sergio with a lighter apoligizing that he forgot to tell us how to lite the water heater. Which I had lit last nite - Sue does not seem to like cold water showers. Nice and hot here, haha, I am a tan guy. The climate is PERFECT. The gardens are amazing. Tomorrow we are going to drive around the small highways around the lake and see the forgotten pueblos. >Already talking about another flight here soon. Its that awful. Tonite we are going to Cinco Padrillos (five godfathers), a well recommended restuarent in Iztlauuchan (sp), that we visited this aym, and I do believe we may get a spectacular dinner. Wetom

Loddie, Haven{t looked (scuse the punctuation, it is a Espaniol keybord)into purchasing R Estate, but am interested in rentals. I can tell you that we looked at a Friqqing sweet place, totally enclosed for perfect security, fab gardens, laundry, really pretty one bedroom, study, kitchen and more, Sue and I both agreed we woulkd need nothing more than this place, Guess it was about 850 sq foot, with abounding gardens - he was asking, and getting, $440USD p month. The German national who was living there was kind enough to let us look at the place, and I really could not ask for much more. The whole cpmpound had five units, this was the smallest, the others were two- three BR and went for something like $600 a month. This included everything, internet, cable TV, electrical, phone, water, a turnkey proposal. And this is in Ajijic, a popular tourist place, for good reason. I wish I could state with authority what a similar arrangement would be in Ixtlahuacan, I have to guess something like half. Am now in Guadalahara and finding it interesting. We are already planning on coming back in a month or so. It is too good. Tom
"Satan / Cheney in "08" Thanks for the report. Dirt, dirt, cheap; and the people are great. Take a side trip from Guadalajara to Lake Chapala(?) - it's something to see and experience, especially the chow. Stay safe and well, and continue having a blast down there.

Packed a few for you, leaving for Vallarta tomorrow, five hour bus ride over the Serria Madras (I am in a dive right now in Guadalahara with a keybord that is shot with no lighting)and the flight to reality is United 872 at 1:51 to Denver. Be happy to mail them to you. Sue and are I taken with the possibilities of Gud, and she is interested in attendind a cooking school here. We are kinda tired right now, lotta traveling the last few days and GUD is an experience that is more than overwhelming. Tho we have a freeking fantastic James Bond kinda hotel room tonite, fourth floor, modern, right off the Plaza Central, for -- get this Lodd -- $335MN per nite!!!! (Bout $26 - Denver would be nicer, but prolly $450USD for similar. Breakfast buffet for $55MN, $5.5 USD, dont know what it is like, but the meals here have been, generally, memorable. Sleep calls tom
