I have to agree, and when I caught Rush in his spinning and lying, and he is so good at it that you really have to be following close to catch it, that opened my eyes to a larger view of reality.
It was really quite stunning to me when it happened. I was listening on my pocket radio in the backyard, and he took a set of facts, which I was already familiar with, and spun it away to a plausible but incorrect conclusion that was not as damaging to the establishment as the logical conclusion. It was very slick the way he did it, and he made it sound so "reasonable and plausible". I was both heartbroken to realize that he was just another paid liar and admired the skill with which he lied.
