Title: Negative impact of ObamaCare already kicking in

48 hours had not even passed after Congress approved ObamaCare before the negative impact of its provisions began kicking in.

Remember, the so-called 'benefits' of the program will not begin until 2014. But the fees, taxes, and other surcharges that are essential to the plan go into effect immediately.

This has led to some disturbing consequences just within the last 24 hours.

Karl Denninger via WRSA reported this:

From the forum:

"So I just got a call from my health insurance provider. My family rates are going up $200/month ... $2400/year per employee effective April 1st. Didn't take long after signing to get this s**t going.

So much for the "my plan will save Americans" $2500/year in Healthcare premiums.

F***ing liar in chief. "

This is not the only troubling development as a consequence of ObamaCare. A local radio station in the Upstate of South Carolina, which has a call-in show each afternoon, was inundated with calls Tuesday afternoon concerning hospitals turning away Medicare patients this week.

One elderly woman was sent home from the emergency room after the bare minimum of treatment with a fever of 103 degrees. When she was forced to return to the emergency room within 24 hours, due to the fact that she was not adequately treated the first time, the doctor informed her they could not give her care because it was 'too soon after her initial treatment.'

Some careful research on this issue uncovered a little-known, unreported matter involving government control of healthcare. According to none other than the Senate's late champion of socialized medicine, Ted Kennedy, much of the excess cost of Medicare comes from readmissions within 30 days of initial treatment. Thus, proponents of government control of healthcare costs advocate limiting readmissions.

And what, precisely, was the 'fix' for that cost run-up? Ban Medicare recipients from receiving follow-up care within 30 days of their initial treatment as part of government-run healthcare.

In anticipation of these homicidal measures being implemented once ObamaCare kicks in full-steam, apparently the government is getting in some early target practice on denying care for the elderly.

WRSA raises another critical issue:

I suggest that each reader who is employed and currently has health insurance check with your human resources department about the immediate/near-term impact of Obamacare on your benefits package.

At BigDumbCo, we were told in December by one of the big dogs that passage of either the House or the Senate bill would gravely imperil the company's willingness to offer health insurance, due to the financial impact.

If that is true (and please check with your own management team), Team Freedom has a helluva recruiting opportunity coming up with the folks who didn't think Obamacare really mattered to them.

So not only is care already being rationed for the elderly and insurance premiums skyrocketing in just 48 hours, but the grand plan of Obama and the Democrats will result in companies dropping healthcare coverage for their employees altogether.

No wonder that even as Obama signed the bill into law, the polls were showing a dismal rating of his job performance and the continued dwindling support of ObamaCare among the electorate.

And just wait until the 130 new federal agencies are created to manage ObamaCare (as mandated in the bill) and the IRS hires the estimated 16,000 to 18,000 new employees it will need to force compliance among the populace.

I think I'm okay with Obamacare.

Seriously. I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I am pretty sure that it will do exactly what it says it will do.

It will provide care for everyone who needs it.

Which I think is a good thing. You see, when some 80 old geriatric has a temperature of 103, and is refused treatment by a doctor, it's a good thing. That person has led a long, and healthy life, and being retired has served their purpose and should go home and die quietly.

In fact, I see a generation of people who upon retirement are going to be a big burden on the system, but since they all wanted it so badly, will hopefully be the first to receive the same kind of compassionate treatment that their parents are currently getting.

Thus Obama Care Works. It works by reducing the number of people dependent on the system, by picking and choosing what methods these people are to be dispatched. Whether it be deliberately putting someone on a medication that will eventually kill them, or by refusing to treat them, Obama Care will get the results it promised.

Health Care for all, no matter what the cost. That's not even counting the abortions they'll be chalking up. Anything to get that number of dependents DOWN.

For me, as a guy who doesn't go to doctors, I see it as a win. I mean, I figure the day I actually have to go to a doctor, will likely be the day whatever debilitating illness is going to kill me, so I can go there at the end, and have them compassionately euthanize me.

Obama Care will work exactly how they mean it to, and the biggest laughs are yet to come.

Lets take an objective peek at all the other government programs to understand a coherent method of hope and change, let's start with the obvious failures:

1) USPS - failed
2) Medicare - failed
3) Medicaid - failed
4) Social Security - failed
5) Fannie Mae/Salley Mae/Freddie Mac - failed
6) War on Drugs - failed
7) War on Poverty - failed
8) Military wars anywhere on the planet since WW2 - failed

Now, lets take a peek at some of the successes so as to balance the discussion:

1) none

Must be a mistake. Obama said that the insurance premiums would go DOWN by--are you ready?--3000 per cent! That has to mean that the insurance companies will actually pay people to keep their insurance. Not that he hasn't lied about other things.
