Cry me a river...they deserve far worse than this! They should be thankful that so far it's just bricks thru windows and threats. They won't like the next stage. I personally believe that this is JUST the beginning.

By the time we get to April 19th, there will have been blood shed.

For anyone who's REALLY familiar with the American Revolution, this is like DEJA VU.

----

Remember the arrogance of the Brits? Of King George?

Of all the TAXES they imposed...in spite of our leaders and envoys telling them how angry the American People WERE over them?

THIS HEALTHCARE TAX is the same thing.

Exactly the same thing.

And it will end the same way...with blood.

History is literally repeating itself.

assuming that the big money boys want to cut israel loose...

maybe they've figured out a way to blame the american public...

so you "give" americans health care, and as the end game approaches, you let awareness grow that americans have a choice: support these dingbat wars in defense of israel, or retain your social security and health care... america cant afford the wars and social programs at the same time.

the american public chooses social security and health care over israel, and the public begins to hate israel and israeli americans for dragging us into this PNAC project.

the situation degenerates into a jewish holocaust, this time for real (after all, hitler ---with a little help from eely weasel--- set a precedent), the hive queens skate, as usual, and the jews have a brand new persecution myth to start the next cycle... if there is one.

oughta work.

if americans have to choose between spending trillions on wars to defend israel, or having social security and health care... what would they choose?

I apologize for having to apprise you of these cold hard facts:

a. Trillions of $ will continue to be spent fighting wars on behalf of the defense industry complex's bottom line and to defend Israel and to keep that bullyboy nation economically viable

b. Social Security monies have been plundered by Congress over the years - borrowed for other stuff. There is no there-there. This sad news will become apparent in the next 5 to 10 years when the Baby Boomers all come of retirement age and expect SS monthly checks.

c. Obamacare is not health care. Obamacare is buying nannycare health insurance for the 10% of uninsured Americans at the expense of 85% insured Americans, whose taxes will increase and whose health insurance premiums will increase with decreased benefits. What will happen to Americans will be similar to what has happened to countries like Canada wherein the term "universal" health care is sold to the rubes to get their acquiescence to exorbitant taxes. In canada socialized medicine involves gate-keeper GP's who hold the keys to opening the doors to Canadians actually getting health care. Unfortunately over 10% of Canadians cannot get access to GP's, whose practices are over-filled and closed to new patients so therefore and thusly though Canadians are sold a product called "universal" health care at great cost, 10% of them continue to be on the outside looking in, much like our 10% of Americans who are uninsured. Like Eziekel Emanuel [ Rahm's brother and a key consultant to Obumski] once said - and I paraphrase - "just because people are promised universal access to health care coverage, it doesn't mean individuals will actually be able to get all the health care they need all the time."

Let's be honest here.......people were a lot more on the ball at the point of the American Revolution.

Today, people keep electing the same asswipes back into office, even after they voted for the banker bailout extortion.

When the income tax came down the pike, the people did nothing.

When the federal reserve came down the pike, the people did nothing.

How many wars and how many trillion spent on bovine excrement reasons to send our sons and daughters to die for empire? The people did nothing.

Forgive me if I don't believe that this healthcare reform farce will FINALLY be the last straw or the hair the broke the camel's back. Far more treason, far greater extortion at the cost of life, liberty and freedom have come and gone while We the People did nothing more than bitch about it.

I understand where you are coming from and would ask you consider this.

This government now, thanks to Bush, has all the tools and powers it needs to crush any and all..ORGANIZED DISSENT...

That is what you speak of.

There is one vital tool available to the masses that can never be taken away, nor compromised in any way, that is dissent and action by the few by the individual.

Every person in Washington, has now come to that realization, they know fear and there is nothing to be done about it, not a thing.

You and I have done nothing but bitch or complain, but others have made their anger known, and there will be more, and the fear in Washington will escalate.

It pisses me off too. I had my last straw long ago. I'm cynical because, for the most part, people are very apathetic. Around here, we know the score, but the average American needs to be hit up side the head with a clue by four. : )

The the dupes in DC get away with taxing, spending, borrowing, complete incompetence and I used to think that there would FINALLY be a breaking point, but alas, I no longer view it as something that will come to pass without a major economic collapse.

Sheesh, the Patriot act crapped all over the Constitution and our rights, yet it gets extened time and time again. And, we the people do nothing. Worse, the POS's that passed that tripe get re-elected despite crapping on our freedom. Nope, this healthcare reform will be no good for the people--good for big pharma, hospitals and big insurance. Yes, it pisses me off, but I disagree with Goldi that it will FINALLY be the hair that broke the camel's back.

Cyni, the last time there was real protest in large numbers was over Vietnam. And the jack boot thugs shot students at colleges. The voices screamed and wailed, but the empire marched on and on and on. We the people paid dearly with the loss of the Gold Standard and the Brenton Woods replacement.

And since then, all the corruption, back room deals, massive corpritacracy, crapping on the Constitution have all gotten WORSE. Because We the People are apathetic, the dupes in DC don't even listen to us. I disagree about "fear" of the people. This healthcare reform farce clearly demonstrated NO FEAR of the people. Anger be damned.

I've done more than bitch, Cyni, but I'm feeling worn out from lack of tangible results, left feeling my efforts have been futile. I think that as long as people continue to line up in the Red or Blue camps, we'll keep getting the shaft. Until people wake up to the two party fraud, no march on Washington or anger or protest will make any significant change. And right now, people continue to be dupes for Red and Blue.

I disagree about "fear" of the people.

To me the fear emanating from Washington is palatable.

They do NOT fear any group, political or otherwise, rather it is the individual.

That is why Bush and company enacted the Patriot act and all those other laws, to crush any and all organized dissent. In their minds, they were convinced that the individuals would be to cowed to act alone, they have been proven wrong.

And the news is replete across the country of the unrest.

Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ... The times have changed. Colleges are gun free zones and college kids don't give a crap about this fight. This is our fight - the 40+ crowd, and we're incidentally the same ones who bought app 70 million guns since O was coronated.

That's the saddest part: the people most physically able to hit the re-set button don't give a hoot.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

if americans have to choose between spending trillions on wars to defend israel, or having social security and health care... what would they choose?

is that what's scaring goldi-lox?

Point, game and match.

From what I can tell, the most the HC reforms may cost over ten years is $95B.

The minimum of the budget of the corrupt Pentagon colossus is $850 A YEAR.

Our nation is terribly misinformed of the basic structure of the budget, and Wall Street and the MIC IS going to destroy this nation.

We spent over double for health care then the average nation and receive a monstrosity for it all.

Oh VEY! So, its OK to send billions to Israel and not OK to spend billions in free medicare care.

Well, none of its free, as I am unaware that OB is going to declare martial law for the medical community, but I am with you on the massively excessively military spending which has created a political monument that few politicans can say no to.

The $$ to Israel is a travesty in so many ways. A lot of that money is fungiable and gets straight into the US political system.

A horrendous corruption of political integrity.

They do NOT fear any group, political or otherwise, rather it is the individual.

That is why Bush and company enacted the Patriot act and all those other laws, to crush any and all organized dissent. In their minds, they were convinced that the individuals would be to cowed to act alone, they have been proven wrong.

A determined individual cannot be compromised. That said, I hope we are possibly entering a Reformation Period. History indicates RP are usually violent, because the ones in the cat bird's seat like it a lot, and their minions are happy to use violence to extend the Status Quo. My ex insurance provider, United's chief, received ONE BILLION DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR, for denying claims. I know there is more to this story, but maybe we should give that B$$$ to the folks who stand on there feet all day, have highly specialized knowledge and actually help our citizens. Or do we chose to have a system where powerful citizens feed on the sick and weak and the worker class, that actually do something, like pave a road or fix a truck??

Don't expect those that truly believe that there's hope in the political process, aka that "the Republicans" are going to save us, to show up to anything relevant that's going to actually change much of anything. Most of them are too busy being pawns in this charade called the stock/financial markets.

Bot like bacon in the market. And they consider that to be Free Market Economics.

Far more treason, far greater extortion at the cost of life, liberty and freedom have come and gone while We the People did nothing more than bitch about it.

wudidiz endorses this post : )
