Know what I think is funny, Christine? I mean funny as in "Ha Ha", not funny as in "odd". Jews are fair game here. OK. Niggers are a protected species. OK. Who is responsible for white flight? If jews move in next door, does that mean the neighborhood is shot all to hell? When niggers move in next door, does that concern you? Everything the niggers touch turns to shit. I think it's hilarious how people tell me how bad I am, but totally ignore what they know is true. I have no problem throwing all this in their faces and I will continue to do so. I don't have to share her viewpoints to respect the courage and conviction of her actions. Sheesh, she ran for POTUS for crying out loud. I wouldn't have voted for her, but I sure do respect her getting in the race despite our political differences.

I disagree. It's good to let the vermin come out into the sunlight. It is there we can best see their seemingly unlimited supply of dishonor, idiocy, ignorance, etc. Just as people are afraid of the unknown, the mysterious and taboo often have a certain pull for particular types of people. Once one reveals oneself as an ignorant idiot with homicidal tendencies but without the courage to act on them- that goes further than anything else to discourage others from joining that mindset.
My opinion of her is a first hand account having worked in her congressional district. Perhaps if you saw the destruction her politics caused.... At any rate, viva la difference!
Louis Armstrong - a soul of great depth, and like Johnny Cash, had the gift of being able to share that expansive love with all. I still border on goosepumps listening to his recordings. No one did "Mack the Knife" better and his rendition of "It's a Wonderful World" tears your heart out. And among musicians I would also list Ray Brown, Duke Ellington, and The Count. There were of course other greats but the Duke and The Count stand at the top. And as far as Boxers go I'll take George Foreman - the reluctant Champ who took up boxing to escape poverty. Then of course would be the Right Reverend Roosevelt Grier - who used to knit on the sidelines. ;-)

That's because you can't respect yourself. Anyone with that much hate is consumed by it and ruled by it. While I despise it I can only pity someone so afflicted. Certainly there is no iota of respect for it. And anyone with that much hate would have to be leading a miserable life in which it spills over and colors all that is in his life. Sad really.

His autobiography is fascinating. One would have to respect his conviction and discipline after reading his life story. He stood up and took responsibility for his actions, never backed away from what he had said or done, but rather faced it head on, opting to share his learning experience rather than save face.

Considering that there are about 50,000,000 nogs in this country, posters have strained to come up with 10 names and more than half of them are suspect. As someone who grew up with them, worked with them, lived in Africa I say they are a worthless race that has done our country far more harm than good. I will submit one name, J.J. i don't think anyone or anything is a protected species around here. i think most of us give both criticism and respect when it's due regardless of race or political persuasion and for the most part eschew generalization in favor of individual judgment.

Quite a good list here. And I know we've not named enough. Thanks. We've barely scratched the surface. I suspect that we comes down to a matter of viewpoint for many. I think for most whites of good will they don't think of the people we have named as "Black" but as people, as Americans whom we are proud to have be among our fellows.
