Article:

Health care reform: Why so many pens at the signing ceremony?

Ever try to sign your name with 22 pens? Not so easy.

"I've got to use every pen so it's going to take a really long time," said Barack Obama at Tuesday's historic signing of the health care bill. "I didn't practice."

In a longtime tradition, the president put his signature to the bill using almost two dozen commemorative pens, which were handed out to key congressional leaders and others who helped pass the legislation. It took the lefty more than 90 seconds to pick up each of the 22 pens and make a small portion of each letter in his name -- and yeah, the signature probably looks a little weird. "We are done!" he announced with the final stroke.

The White House didn't release details about the custom-made pens -- complete with the presidential seal and signature -- but aides to one recipient confirmed (on super-secret background) that they were black and manufactured by Cross, an American company. Obama used similar rolling-ball pens on his first day in office.

The president gave one of the souvenirs to Vicki Kennedy, widow of Ted Kennedy, and Sister Carol Keehan, the Catholic nun who gave the bill a critical endorsement. Marcelas Owens, the motherless 11-year-old boy who became a national symbol for health-care reform, didn't get a pen but did stand next to Obama during the ceremony.

The pen-worthy were primarily politicians who pushed the bill through: Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, House Majority Whip James Clyburn, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Sens. Dick Durbin, Max Baucus, Tom Harkin and Chris Dodd, and Reps. John Dingell, George Miller, Henry Waxman, Sander Levin and Charlie Rangel. HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius got one, as did Nancy-Ann DeParle, the White House point person on health reform, and Phil Schiliro, White House congressional liaison.

The president kept one pen for himself and gave one to Vice President Biden -- who added his own special touch to the day when he whispered to Obama (in front of an open mike) that it was a "big [frakking] deal." Indeed -- the remaining two pens will be donated to the National Archives.

Poster Comment:

So it's "a longtime tradition", is it, for him (and past residents of the WH?) to sign legislation with many pens so the "signature" looks not only like weird scribbling by a forger but maybe could even be struck down as a jokester's deliberate fakery-prank with no legitimacy? Think of all the UnConstitutional trash we could throw out immediately! I'm hoping for a miracle that Judge Napolitano thinks so, too. (1 image)

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

"You've got to put right and wrong above legal and illegal. Because when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty; and it is not rebellion at all, it is submission to the higher law that our government is in rebellion to. We're not the rebels, they're the rebels."

If christine or someone on the staff can edit out the duplicate "Health care reform:" phrase in the title, I'd appreciate it because I can't.

On the 22 pens used, could be occultically symbolic of the time the recorded vote passed at 10:49 PM on Mar 21; 11 minutes before the 11th hour PM (11+11=22) and during 2200 hours military time -- war being such a boon for the Military Industrial&Medical Stuff Complex.

Possible Mar 21=3/21="711" Tavistock, UK-type symbolism re: the 1st House passage on the 7th day of the 11th month of Nov, 2009 at 11:16 PM (11:1+6="711" Euro-type formating).

For further analysis of the occult angle, see also: 322 - Secret Societies, Depopulation And The Health Care Plan By Jay Weidner

What do Skull and Bones, ancient German secret societies, the Georgia Guidestones and the Health Care bill have in common?

The answer is March 22nd.

That's right.

The Georgia Guidestones were christened on March 22 1980. The first commandment on the stones was a pledge to keep the world's population under 500,000 people.

March 22nd 2010 (Universal Time) is also the day that Health Care finally passed in the United States. (Universal Time is Greenwich Mean Time. This is the 'time' that the Illuminati use.)

3-22, or March 22nd, is also the sacred number to Skull and Bones, the secret society from Yale that produces the leaders of the United States and the world.

March is the only month of the year that is named after a specific planet in the solar system. [sic] as well as the first day in the zodiacal sign of Aries, which is the Greek word for Mars, and it is where 'March' gets its name.

The number 322 is vitally important to these secret societies especially Skull and Bones, which has the number, enshrined in their tomb at Yale.

The number 322 is actually the number for March 22nd. The first day of Aries, also called Mars. [my note: Greek-Ares/Roman-Mars war "god"]

For some reason these secret societies are fixated on March 22nd. Perhaps this is because of a special relationship between these secret societies and the planet Mars.

[sic]

In keeping with this important linkage it is worth noting that the Georgia Guidestones, created as instructed by Mr. R. C. Christian [my note: pseudonym], were christened on March 22nd 1980. Exactly 30 years ago today.

It isn't going too far out on a limb to say that population reduction is a major goal of these secret societies [sic]

as I watched the Health Care Debate over the last few weeks I suddenly saw that it was beginning to appear that President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats were going to vote the Health Care Bill on March 22nd. [sic]

Were they purposely putting this off until the clock hits March 22nd Universal Standard Time? Is this thing being orchestrated so that it falls on 3-22, March 22nd, the Holy Day of some crazy secret society? And a secret society that has built a monument, christened on 3-22 that announces their plans?

Then that would mean the 'Health Care Plan' is something far more sinister. >>

Me: I'm hoping for a miracle that Judge Napolitano thinks so, too.

You: What do you mean?

I would consider it miraculous if Judge Napolitano also thinks the deliberate signature-scrawlings invalidate that legislation and more UnConstitutional junk, too, signed so by "longtime tradition".

Actually even assuming he is eligible, he is signing "legislation" that was not passed according to actual Constitutional rules. And then even if it was passed according to Constitutional rules (which it was not), it's still utterly unconstitutional and a full violation of our rights, not to mention the 10th amendment.

Doubtful any of them read the thousands of pages in both the Senate and House bills, either, to make sure both are exactly the same with no clerical errors between them whatsoever. [ref: their own "Slaughter Rule" invocations] I want an injunction filed until both copies are checked thoroughly by Constitutionalists for any discrepencies. I expect that would take quite a long time. They shouldn't have even scheduled a "signing ceremony" without such crosschecking.

I thought that was hilarious, symbolic of the fact that Barry Soweto Hussein Obama has dual citizenship and is not American born.

I certainly would not read anything into it about Chief Justice Roberts thinking Barry is eligible. Roberts' swearing in Obama is ritual, protocol, nothing more. If I were a betting person, I would bet the farm that Chief Justice Roberts personally loathes the Kenyan/ Bolshevik/Law Professor Wannabe/Imposter.

Check out Roberts' expression at Barry's SOTU address. Not too pleased, frowning if truth be told. Alioto is pulling his ear off [ in anger?]. Anthony Kennedy has a frozen pissed off look, too. No comment on Ginsburg - archetypal Obumski cheerleader, what can one say.

In the little search box at the top of your browser, enter these words:

news sources--how much money has Obama spent, or has been spent on his behalf, to keep his birth certificate hidden?

You might also include the words long form birth certificate since someone did post a Photoshop version of a short form on his behalf.

Here is what 0bama has had to defend, thus far (no thanks to you, Jimmy):

The campaign also compensated Perkins Coie for legal services between Oct. 16, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008 – to the tune of $378,375.52.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Obama For America paid $688,316.42 to international law firm Perkins Coie between January and March 2009.

Robert Bauer of Perkins Coie – top lawyer for Obama, Obama's presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee and Obama's Organizing for America – is the same Washington, D.C., lawyer defending President Obama in lawsuits challenging his eligibility to be president.

Bauer's warning was dated April 3 and delivered via letter to the plaintiff's attorney, John D. Hemenway. It is not the first such warning issued. Lawyers trying to kill a similar California lawsuit filed on behalf of Ambassador Alan Keyes also said they would seek sanctions against the plaintiff's attorneys in that case unless they left the issue of the president's eligibility alone.

"For the reasons stated in Judge Robertson's ruling, the suit is frivolous and should not be pursued," Bauer's letter warned. "Should you decline to withdraw this frivolous appeal, please be informed that we intend to pursue sanctions, including costs, expenses and attorneys' fees, pursuant to Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 38 and D.C. Circuit Rule 38."

The FEC report also reveals Obama For America has spent nearly $9.5 million in the first three months of this year – of which $6,365 in legal fees paid by Obama For America also went to Oldaker, Biden & Belair, a firm founded by Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

Here is a partial listing and status update for some of the cases over Obama's eligibility:

* New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed a case on behalf of Charles Kerchner and others alleging Congress didn't properly ascertain that Obama is qualified to hold the office of president.

* Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama's original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg's latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied.

* Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.

* Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut's secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.

* Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public's support.

* Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama's vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.

* Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama's eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama's citizenship. His case was denied.

* In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.

* In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama's citizenship. The case was denied.

* In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama's birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia's secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.

* California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters. She also has been working on several other cases.

In addition, other cases are raising questions about Obama's eligibility include:

* In Texas, Darrel Hunter vs. Obama later was dismissed.

* In Ohio, Gordon Stamper vs. U.S. later was dismissed.

* In Texas, Brockhausen vs. Andrade.

* In Washington, L. Charles vs. Obama.

* In Hawaii, Keyes vs. Lingle, dismissed.

So what is wrong with that?

I don't know how much it costs to produce one from Hawaii but I do know I had to produce one--a real one--to get a passport. And believe it or not it didn't cost anywhere near 2 million dollars! No, more like ten or fifteen. So unless Hawaii is way out of line with what seems to be about average I would say your boy must be hiding something really bad. Because no one spends as much as he has to hide their birth certificate.

He is defending his own private papers in a publick court of law time and time and again. I don't see what is hidden.

You say in the second sentence that you "don't see what is hidden." Neither does anyone else and Obama wants to keep it that way. Two MILLION dollars (give or take) to hide a birth certificate which would cost 20 dollars (or thereabouts) to produce. He should be forced to produce the actual birth certificate, not that Photoshop pos that some of his supporters put on the internet. And his school records and all the other stuff he is desperately trying to keep under wraps.

You'd think that the Obama Bots would be encouraging Obama to release his college transcripts to prove to everyone that he is the intellectual genius that they know him to be.[smirk]

He should be forced to produce the actual birth certificate ....

That infers a requirement or some sort of law. There aren't any. He was vetted through a normal political process within his own party.

Now, I agree with you about private records for those running for elected public office. They should be able to fully support by fact and records this sort of scrutiny. But it doesn't exist.

That could play against the merits. Suppose he was just a dumb fuck with average or even less than average grades and attendance taking advantage of his race card?
