Just got a call from a perky girl in an obvious call center enviroment. Seh identified herself being with the NRC, and asked if I considered myself a republican.

I said yes, and she said "good, good".

She went on, "Do you support the Obama administration's policy of imposing European style Socialism on the United States"?

I asked her where she got that information, she said uheh, and the phone disconnected.

Just saying.

She probably got it from noticing that the government through Obama is imposing European style socialism on us.

Though if you were asking her in way of informing her it was more along the lines of Fascism With A Happy Socialist Face, then I guess your point is taken.

MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

If my house were on fire and I were standing outside watching it burn to the ground, there's an 80% chance that I'd be cracking jokes with the firemen. I was afflicted early on with a strong sense of gallows humor. :)
