This is a video report by Alex Jones on the CAFR Reports that are done by states and various municipalities. CAFR stands for the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. These reports show the tru economic health of a city or state.
Rense.com has been reporting on the CAFR research by Walter Burien for years. Burien's site is cafr1.com/. Lots of good information, links, and video there. Here's a couple of excerpts:

Do you know how many trillions of dollars YOUR Local and Federal Government has invested with Mexico, China, the old Soviet block countries? Investments held in foreign currency? Government investments that greatly profit from that cheap labor abroad and a lower dollar.
Investments that profit even more when the dollar drops in value due to foreign currency exchange rates?
Will have to finish watching it later. It's longer than I thought it would be. Glad you posted it. A good place to get more people talking about this subject is at school district meetings where increased taxes and bonds are pitched for their expenses.
