When I was 21, several times I experienced sleep paralysis. It got to the point I didn't pay any attention to it. Once, when I was paralyzed, I clicking noises then buzzing ones. I realized I was hallucinating them, but they seemed completely real.
Later, I told my girlfriend about, and she said I was on the verge of astral-travelling, that my spirit was just about to leave my body. I looked at her if she was nuts.
Later, I found out that people have for thousands of years claimed paralysis, and clicking and buzzing noises are a prelude to your spirit popping out.
