Quality arms and ammo are pretty good investments these days.
you gotta wonder about... well, first of all, you gotta wonder about this: how representative of humanity are the posters at freedom4um... if freedom4um people are fairly representative of humanity in general, you gotta wonder, if freedom4um people's first reaction to a crisis is to buy guns and ammo... it's pathetic and comical, at the same time... sort of like an old jack ie gleason movie... or maybe a natalie portman movie
First, freedum4um people already had plenty of guns and ammo.......long before this recent bank bail out business. We are, at heart, for the constitution which includes the 2nd amendment. And, no, freedom4um people are not fairly representative of humanity in general. I think that folks around here are above the average in regards to intellect, curiosity and quest for knowledge.
...not to mention paranoid idiocy, and failure to properly diagnose the cause of their sickness.
Why do you hang around with folks you have such a dismal view of? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. You know there is an old saying that would put you in the midst of your own harsh judgment: water seeks its own level. Let me guess.......you are the doctor who will "properly diagnose" the cause of all the vast sickness here at 4um? Where did you get your degree? Methinks it was a box of Cracker Jacks. : )

terminal boredom would be my first guess. ...coupled to a residual sense of self-preservation, seeing as how this forum is so obscure that i'm certain that nobody's gonna pay any attention to what i'm saying. meanwhile, you guys' first reaction is to arm yourselves to the gills. after all, you gotta protect your stuff, dont you?
The answer is that he (or she, whatever) is a dumb ef and a troublemaker. I am sure that folks like that is why the kill filter--called a clown filter by a lot of people--was invented. A good invention, I recommend its use. I NEVER see what that idiot has to say unless someone replies to him and copies and pastes his spew.
