Take the quiz at the URL.
I was scored a Glock, but my revolvers and auto-loaders are all .45ACP.
Glock Model 22 in 40 cal........but I carry a .38. : )
"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ... We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of." Edward Bernays, Father of Public Relations
"With respect to the words general welfare, I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators." James Madison, Letter to James Robertson, April 20, 1831
Good match, eh? Me and Sig are like two peas in a pod. hehehe

well, first of all, you gotta wonder about this: how representative of humanity are the posters at freedom4um...
if freedom4um people are fairly representative of humanity in general, you gotta wonder, if freedom4um people's first reaction to a crisis is to buy guns and ammo...
Got the Glock on the quiz too. Never liked the plastic look.
My buddy bought one, and out of the box couldn't hit squat with it. I couldn't either. I handed him the CZ nine and he put all of them in a group just a notch off the bulls-eye.

First, freedum4um people already had plenty of guns and ammo.......long before this recent bank bail out business. We are, at heart, for the constitution which includes the 2nd amendment. And, no, freedom4um people are not fairly representative of humanity in general. I think that folks around here are above the average in regards to intellect, curiosity and quest for knowledge.

...not to mention paranoid idiocy, and failure to properly diagnose the cause of their sickness.
Why do you hang around with folks you have such a dismal view of? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. You know there is an old saying that would put you in the midst of your own harsh judgment: water seeks its own level.
Let me guess.......you are the doctor who will "properly diagnose" the cause of all the vast sickness here at 4um? Where did you get your degree? Methinks it was a box of Cracker Jacks. : )

Got that right.
No one here is under any militia-type illusions - at least the way I read posters. Nobody is arming to fight the government. They are just holding on to their weapons, because those have to be taken away first before active tyranny can begin.
...coupled to a residual sense of self-preservation, seeing as how this forum is so obscure that i'm certain that nobody's gonna pay any attention to what i'm saying.
meanwhile, you guys' first reaction is to arm yourselves to the gills.
after all, you gotta protect your stuff, dont you?

Hell, I've long been independent and taken responsibility for my own protection. Now I have two little girls who I am also responsible to protect. My first reaction is logical, pragmatic and well-reasoned. And, like I said, I was well armed before this current economic debacle--so who is it you are referring to running out on this "first reaction" to arm up?
Yeah, you are probably right, not too many posters pay attention to what you are saying.......proving the laws of the universe are in perfect working order. You get what you give. It seems you don't even read my posts as you continue to harp about "first reaction" and arming to the gills. Say, just how much arming must one do to qualify for this "to the gills" catagory?
Besides, it's like randge said.........guns are tons of fun.

there's only one reason to own a gun, and that's to shoot something.
you cant tell me that it's a coincidence that, as the problems become more obvious, the gun ownership, according to you people, is rising.
you feel threatened, and the response is: prepare to shoot people.
i guess you've been infected with a radical jewish point of view: might makes right, and fuck a bunch of figuring out what's gone haywire, fuck a bunch of cooperation.
Yes they are. And they are not limited to handguns but every class of firearm. One of my best firearms (never been shot) is my Browning Superposed Midas Grade12 (signed by Andre Dierckx, master engraver)......
Why do you hang around with folks you have such a dismal view of?
The answer is that he (or she, whatever) is a dumb ef and a troublemaker. I am sure that folks like that is why the kill filter--called a clown filter by a lot of people--was invented. A good invention, I recommend its use. I NEVER see what that idiot has to say unless someone replies to him and copies and pastes his spew.

in the interest of "full disclosure", i should probably say, here and now, that i have probably killed more living things than most people... i seem to have been born a killer, judging from my behavior, murdering hundreds of songbirds including your favorites, from when i first got a BB gun when i was maybe eight.
i have never killed a human being, but i have hauled tons of dead human beings from battlefields in vietnam, and i dont like the smell of dead humans... and whatever race, they all seem to smell the same after they've been lying in the sun for a couple days.

the best shot i ever made was on a kingfisher, shooting .22 shorts out of a bolt action remington.
i had a rest on my aunt's bridge, built by my dad and uncle, and i had to raise the barrel so far that i lost sight of the kingfisher.
i pulled the trigger, half an hour later the kingfisher fell like a rock off his branch, and i couldnt believe it... so i climbed through a hundred yards of blackberry vines to get down to the creek to confirm.
I would say that is a definite possibility. Although I haven't known you, or known of you, all your life so you may have entered the world in that condition. But where there is life there is hope so maybe your mind will come back to you someday.
