Since the teaparty craze arose from Ron Paulies, cutting the defense budget was on out list long before Mahar chimed in.
Bill is a little late on this "insight" and he completely misses the boat on the massive largess of central goobermint across the board. Yes, defense is a great place to start. But, what about the Dept. of Energy that has made this nation MORE not LESS dependent on foreign energy? What about the Dept. of Education that has left our children LESS not MORE educated? What about the FDA--a useless revolving door for Big Pharma? What about the EPA--a useless revolving door for Monsanto? What about "borrowing" from SS and Medicare, never paying it back then pretending that's NOT stealing? What about the useless Federal Reserve that creates collapses to steal from the people?
I could go on, but you get the point. Maybe in many months or years, Bill will catch on to the tax dollar waste in so many other areas......maybe.
