one can reason that since the sexual (creative) force is involved in the areas of beyond ordinary perceptions and powers, it is easy to understand why those who seek to control would either make sexuality either taboo or purposefully trivial....one thing they could NEVER do is to allow it to be anything sacred....hence, the tantric mystery schools, etc. (see robert anton wilson)ETA: if you ever want to get a tremendous effect from this energy coiled at the base of the spine, try kundalini yoga for a few weeks....gets you high as a kite, totally blissed out as you raise that force into the crown/brain....as one progresses, many unusual things occur (see: autobiography of a yogi)

swann has a fascinating trilogy of which i own 2/3 called 'secrets of power' that goes into the various ways that power has been restricted in society, specifically areas involving perception beyond ordinary means...his foray into entymology(?) is very interesting in particular.

That's pretty amazing, it gives him some credibility. I read a few chapters of his book "Penetration" not knowing if he was FOS or not. Is it true? I don't know, but it was an interesting read and it cost me nothing. Now, if what he says IS true..........
