The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

"You've got to put right and wrong above legal and illegal. Because when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty; and it is not rebellion at all, it is submission to the higher law that our government is in rebellion to. We're not the rebels, they're the rebels."

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

Nice photos. I crewed a UH-1H helicopter in the 82nd Airborne Division. 70- 16450. She was a Vietnam vet. Her number is 00-16450 if she still is airworthy as she would have gone to Texas for rebuild.

Nice aircraft.

Many of those are UH-1Ds , with an T53-L11 engine instead of the UH-1H T53-L13 free power tubine engines. More horse power.

I hate watching modern movies about the Vietnam war with Hueys thst have IR suppression paint, proximity warning sensors, heat dispersion cones on the engine exhaust, etc.

Though I realize only someone like me would see the minor differences between modern and classic Hueys.
