Maybe I need to dump some cached history, or something, but I'm getting nothing.

We just got a dog too. I better treat this dog better, otherwise she'll leave me out to die.

Nice story.

Animals are often smarter than we give them credit for.

A cat of mine was pregnant. She was pulling on my girlfriends arm with her teeth as she was sitting on the couch. So my girlfriend after a while stood up and then the cat walked into the bedroom. She kept looking back to see if she was being followed by my girlfriend. Under the bed was one white kitten.

It's mother didn't know what to make of it or what to do as she had never had a kitten before. I held her down and put the kitten there for it to eat. I had to hold her down by all four legs on her side for a bit to keep her still.

Both her and the kitten soon figured out how to do the feeding thing.

Taught me something about animal intelligence that day.

The kitten ended up having one green eye and one blue eye.

I experimented with mental telepathy with animals too, but that's another story.

I'm a direct witness to that very fact: about three weeks ago I shot a turkey in the woods, he was facing away from me and due to my poor aim I delivered 2oz. of #5 shot into his feathers instead of his head. He proceeded to flop around on the forest floor and then pulled a Jesus-move on me by rising up and running away at full speed in spite of my desparate need to put a tag on him. Miraculous, indeed.......

;-)
