I can't shake the uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. This isn't a typical "bad day feeling." It's the first time in my life that I feel I'm not in control of my future.

Does anyone else have the feeling of impending doom?

Doom for who?

TPTB? Oh yeah. Doom on them. They're the ones that should be scared shitless. There is a price to be paid for what they have done. IMO it is just the natural result. They built a house of cards but called it a castle. One good breeze. Just one.

Us? I see a change coming. Some bad, mostly good. I believe that even the bad has good purpose.

Interesting time to be alive, isnt it?

Yes.

@ Lod

Disasters happen all the time. You're right, we can die at any time.

The thing is, everyone dies. We just don't know when or how. I'm thankful for that.

@ JT

remember this???

woe oh oh oh!

Great - thanks.

Could a show like HeeHaw be successfully aired today?

Oh hell no. Musical talent (whether you like country music or not, they at least could play their instruments and sing like professionals), hot chicks who weren't out proving their "superiority over men" in every scene, humor without being blue, and even positive references to Christianity from time to time. Nope, it wouldn't last a season, even if it had the highest ratings on the tube.

You're right, of course.

What was I thinking?
